Thanks for reaching out to us but we haven't sold Juki's for almost 8 years. All long-arm machines are essentially the same. Tension is like a tug-of-war between the bottom and top tension. If your bobbin tension is too tight then your top tension has to compensate for it. I would make your bobbin tension be a little looser than what Juki recommends and then you can back off your top tension. We don't own this Juki set up any more so we can't make videos on how to use it. You are welcome to watch any of the videos we have on RU-vid and glean from them tips that will help.

I’m contemplating in the future getting rails etc but just bought my TL 18 QVP and loving it!!!

@@sharonmorris8192 since you have the sit down version it is really hard t convert it over where you can use it on a frame
