2 years ago I was on the verge of giving up the game because of arthritic pain in my fingers & thumbs when I tried to use a standard midsize grip. But luckily I tried the JumboMaz XL Ultralite Grips and instantly I was able to play pain-free, with the added Bonus that I gained length and decreased my dispersion. Literally, the BEST equipment change that I have ever made👍👍
I put a Jumbo Max XS grip on one of my old drivers to test it out. It quickly took the place of my new driver and became my old new driver again. What a difference in comfort and control. I actually look forward to hitting that club I use to curse. Great job Jim and Robin !
I’ve gamed the ultralite and I’m now going to a smaller Jax zen lite on my driver and 7 iron and 50 degree. I luv the firm, light grip but now I’d like to try it slightly smaller. Great grips.
I'm a big fan of using compressed air to install grips (thick masking tape, no solvent). Not sure if this is the place to ask about this. I put a set of the Ultralites on my Takomo 101s and haven't had any problems yet. Any thoughts on it?
Awesome video Jim ! Interesting concept with counterbalanced grips and that grip pressure concept. Been a huge fan of WINN grips over past few years after playing GolfPride for about 25 years. Not sure if I would change over to JumboMax but it was an interesting video!
Same here. But I tried the jumbo max in a size small and I love it. I have it on all my woods and hybrids I haven't tried them on the irons yet. My hands don't hurt anymore after playing. Try it on one club and see how you like it. If you don't then go back to your Winn's
I tested the Tour on my Channel last week. Was impressed with the dispersion and the 6 yards, 85 mph driver speed old dude. I think I need them a little smaller. I bought a 5/16 over size. Need to test smaller ones in the ultra lights on my monitor for my old arthritic hands and body!

You can actually custom order clubs right from Jim @McGolf. He makes amazing looking clubs that are second to none. The big boys don’t even come close to the quality that McGolf produces. But to answer your question, I’ve seen them offered from some manufacturers as an option.
Ok so how does us normal people go through this fitting process? I see the Pro’s getting top priority but us amateurs, weekend hackers - I am not sure how we can take advantage of all this great high tech stuff?
The testing i did makes for a great system, iron shafts with different grips so I can put on the proper heads. Drivers were too many $$$$$ the website site has a fitting section. Although I think its a bit under conservative
With jumbo grips you can play without a glove. You would not use a tennis racket with a thin grip, or any other sports club. Also, if you think thin grip gives you feel and accuracy, you would have a thin grip on your putter. The opposite is actually true; you have a thick grip purposely to get more feel and accuracy and control. This applies to your irons, and especially a driver. If a thick grip golf club feels unusual to you, it's because you've been using the wrong grip your entire golfing life. Anyone with a low hand strength, child or female or arthritic, should be using jumbo grips. Anyone wanting more power and more feel and more control should be using jumbo grips.
The sizes are more preference oriented. I used standard sized grips and like the small grips. Mr. Goosen typically used a mid sized grip and likes the Xsmall grip. Is tried the various sizes to see if one can first you
