This looks incredible. Friend group has always wanted a co-op space game like this. Have different people have roles managing ship combat would be awesome. Pilot, Gunner, Engineer, Mechanic stuff like that with mini games for those inside the ship running around.

It's almost like you can have fun in a space game without the landscape being the scope of an entire galaxy. I'm glad someone is finally figuring it out.

It's like FTL but you're the crew. Cool idea and can't wait to see how it plays.

This is like Voidcrew but you're actually able to play in the big ship by yourself and they give you guns. I'm sold, Voidcrew is fun already, this looks way more fun

Bigger ships with more players and more stuff to operate would be cool. I have been wanting a fps FTL coop op game but so far all the ones that kind of look like it have fallen flat.

We need more games like this, and make them accessible as they can sometimes be niche.

Could be what I wanted Pulsar: Lost Colony to be. Would love more duties/tasks to perform on the ship, with different crew taking specific roles only they may complete. Fighting and all that is fine, but putting out the fires and managing resources would be unique fun in co-op.

This is almost identical to "Void Crew"... Still glad they're finally making games we've only been requesting for 20 years 😅

This is a pretty ambitious project, and large scale space exploration games generally don't go well. Elite Dangerous and NMS (which had a really terrible launch) are the only ones I can think of that actually delivered on their intent and managed to make a fun game in the process. I'm interested but after The Day Before, it would be wise of everyone to not throw everything in with these devs. Don't take shortcuts, don't replace people with learning algorithms, and don't abuse crunch time. This can be the best game some of us have ever played.

Would love if that game became PVPVE with more ship type. Can you imagine if they add a fast ship for dogfight ? The only ship we saw so far seems really slow when it comes to fight other ship unfortunately.

Different types of ships would be welcome.

Been wanting a game like this for a while-- only minor thing I don't like is that it looks like everything is done on top of the ship-- that looks a bit silly and will break my immersion I feel like. Hopefully there are ships with a combination of interior turrets and rooms as well as on-deck mechanics. A small gripe, but still. Wishing your team the best!

would've loved to see more footage showcasing the inner operations of the ship and crew teamwork in action. Game seems somewhat generic if judging solely by the gameplay shown here. Previous tech demos and progress videos you've posted on twitter were more enticing to me when compared to this trailer. Still, game looks nice overall. I'm excited.

This reminds me of Pulsar: Lost Colony, one of my favorite games. I can't wait to not be able to get any of my friends to play this with me as well. :(

Is there a campaign? Whilst I like open worlds, after an Infinite amount of time, it does get boring after a while. A campaign with a story line in coop mode does provide a purpose. Think of mine craft, I mean I guess you can achieve a big goal in defeating the ender dragon, which requires significant steps to achieve get to the dragon and defeat it

It's an awesome Idea, but it looks very very arcade. Like it was made purely for console. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt, but please don't cock it up with a cheap console port. I've seen too many of those. Is it only AI enemies that you fight or are there humanoids too? That was the biggest thing that bored me about Generation Zero. It's lack of different enemy types, just, robots..

I'm not sure who needs to hear this, but I utterly despise this recent trend of "gameplay explainer" trailers. Hearing someone describe the game while footage rolls is highly irritating and I immediately lose all interest in the game (yes, I am flat out telling you that I no longer have any interest in Jump Ship whatsoever solely based on this trailer and I don't care how "popular" it turns out to be after launch). What happened to gameplay trailers that didn't require explanation? If you want to explain your game, why not show the people who are talking in a round-table or hold some sort of press interview?

This needs to be more then 4 players, and pvp. Imagine teams of 4 or more crew fighting each other in sky or space. Boarding their ship ect..

Looks fun, but the first person combat looks like it's missing something. All the enemies I've seen just disappear instantly. No ragdolls, or parts breaking off them.
