Void Crew has zilch FPS mechanics. In Jump Ship, you and your crew can equip firearms, leave the ship and fight AI at PoIs, do missions on foot, and even ride on the deck of your ship in flight while firing man-portable rocket launchers at other ships. Additionally, Void Crew is extremely difficult to play alone. The devs have promised solo play will be viable in Jump Ship.

in the trailer on steam the voice over says you can "select your ship" Guessing it's gonna be like voidcrew where you can get different ships depending on playstyle and player present
