You have cultivated a beautiful practice. My only question is does the skull always move last? As a practitioner of many years I struggle with this concept. Do you find it easier to let the head move organically or is your drishti always evident? Moreover are you moving your eyes and the head follows or are you moving the head and the eyes follow? Perhaps there’s nothing within this thought but sometimes I find myself very enveloped in it.

Nice tutorial.... What is interesting in the shala I practice I was told I need to jump through during inhale and not exhale. Where can I find a valid Asthanga vinyasa description? Thx
@benjaminboehme282
@benjaminboehme282 3 года назад
Exhale downward dog Inhale jump through Exhale when you drop your legs and move into next posture (that's quite difficult at the beginning and usually one will need extra breaths here) Inhale Extend the spin look up Exhale drop your head and stay 5 breaths. You can check gregor mähle's book on ashtanga yoga its quite complete, with pictures and anatomical knowledge as well as a commentary on the yoga sutras
