Hey Guys, Setting up an airplane is only difficult if you do not try it! 8 Ch Airplane Receiver with 8 Channel and Telemetry! Hard to beat this one! graysonhobby.com/jumper-t16-pro.html
@@GlockPointer Sorry I know this is an older post but if you haven't figured it out yet yes you can, Go to the throttle channel in the mixer screen and hold scroll wheel down to get to menu. Select insert after. Go into edit the new mix, Name it ThrCut or whatever, set source to MAX, set weight to -500%, set the switch to whatever you want, change multiplex to replace. That should get you done. When switch is in the position you selected in the switch setting the throttle stick will be dead and it will be active when it is in the other position(s). BE AWARE that if your throttle is not ALL THE WAY down when you flip that switch the motor will instantly go to whatever value the stick is at. ALWAYS make sure you double check that throttle is at -100% BEFORE you flip the switch.
hi guys ! i come from traditional futaba tx back in 2004 when i first start this hobby. due to constant moving of my jobs i lost contact with my R/C. and finaly after setle down, & having kids start very little to play toy drones ( cant go away too far with kids ). it was recently that i decide to hve me time and back to business ! :). i bought this T16 and no idea how to use it. until Your video give me a glimpse of Nirvana. I'm thanking you for your effort to create such a wonderful content. I'm wishing u all success, happy and keep rockin !.
Thank you so much for the exellent vids about the jumper t16. Please don’t change the way you do them, non confusing, straight forward. My T16 from Grayson Hobby arrived today. Merry Christmas to Will and Basil !
Great stuff guys! I fly quite a few planes and this is just the content I need! Thanks for these vids. I bought my T16 from you a few months ago, and haven't looked back (at "the other guys") since.
AS a Plane guy ( normally ) this was interesting . I use a DX9 Spektrum Tx with all my planes and use the original Jumper T8SG Tx with all my micro quads . Perhaps one day I may purchase the T16 and use it for all my aircraft .
Just an FYI you can flash the Jumper R8 with FrSky's ACCST V2.1 X8R firmware, it's actually an electrical level clone of the X8R. So if you are using FrSky radios and have updated to ACCST v2.1 you can still use this receiver.
I bought a JumperTX and D8 receiver from you guys a month or so ago. I'm moving from Spekky DX9 to Jumper to get more than 9 channels. Question: Can two R8 receivers be bound on the same receiver number to get 16 channels, like X8R receivers can?
Hey guys, I just bought two of the Jumper RX's from you, and followed the instructions to bind to a Jumper T16Pro, but am not having any luck. When I power up the RX, it flashes green once, then blinks red. If I push the bind button, it blinks green twice, then goes back to flashing red. I can't get it to go into bind mode, I think. Any thoughts? The 2nd one does exactly the same thing. I must be doing something wrong. ******WATCH THE VIDEO CLOSELY*****. I missed the part where you power the RX up while holding the bind button. Now they both work. Thanks for the great videos and products.
Merry Christmas. Another great video! Hats off to you guys. Do keep up the good work. Any ideas on how to get just the flight pack lipo voltage to be relayed to the T16? This is the only one thing is missing.
Great video. If you are using a flight Controller in a plane, can you take out 8channel SBUS to the flight Controller and 8 channel out of the PWM pins on the receiver? I have done this With a frsky receiver
Liked your video very much. I fly drones with my Jumper and am therefor familiar with RSSI telemetry. However I would really like to have telemetry in my planes as well and specifically Vbat!. Can I really hookup VBAT directly to the Telemtry Voltage pin(s) ? Could you please explain. This is completely new to me and I am afraid of blowing up my RX. Than you very much for your efforts!
Thank you for creating a Great Video that is easy to understand please keep the T16 videos coming for planes. Could you please cover V Tail and Flaperon mixes and setup. I made a big leap from DXe to the T16.
Has anyone figured out how to get the R8 telemetry to give the RxBt (Receiver Battery) value yet? I noticed yours in the video is the same as mine unfortunately; 0.0V which is obviously wrong.
Supposedly this issue has been fixed in later batches of the R8. On the first batch you can solder some SMT resistors in and fix it if you are good at soldering.
Hi, cool video! Is it possible to connect this receiver with some kind of lipo voltage sensor in order to know the plane voltage? I fly without autopilot.
FYI: A friend purchased a radio and a Jumper R8 from you and had a problem binding. It did not bind on FRSky D16 BUT it DID bind on FRSky X2 D16. Any idea why? Thanks.
Hi guys great video,my question is if i want basic telemetry for my plane like currant draw flight pack volt speed and rssi ,what receiver would i use for the jumper T16 pro v2 thanks.
Just F.Y.I.: "backslash" (\) is used for local drive access. "Slash" (/) is used for web addresses. That's why the common slash is the more easily accessed on the keyboard. The slash is used in typography whereas the backslash is only used in computing.
So how do you get the other 8 channels, say for a high detailed model needing all 16 channels, do I sbus a second receiver off of the first to get channels 9-16
Grayson Hobby so, that’s a no on y harness? I did set up model as v tail and doesn’t work(channel 2 and 4 ). I really wanted to know if I needed y harness....I think your saying no because u did not answer...
@@emilgabl9069 The wizard will set it up as rudder and elevator mix where you need to use both left and right sticks. Change the rudder to aileron and elevator mix from the wizzard setup. Remember a V tail is not like an F22 type elevons set up. Each tail must move together like a traditional rudder for left and right....
Yes, because your radio is limited to spektrum protocol recievers. The jumper does all the major protocols, allowing it to work with any recievers, bnf planes, ect. This can all be combined with crossfire long range capabilities. All this, for half the price of a spektrum setup.
