Jumper T16 PRO with Upgraded Hall Gimbals - FCC Certification 

I own 2 futaba's 600 dollars each, 2 frsky x9d AND X9D+, and several other radios, Including the Jumper T16, if you want a super radio in a super price with lots of luas and capabilities this is the radio to own, the T16 replaced all those radios I listed before. I own one of the first one and Im in love with it, my is using Crossfire and Dragonlink modules and is amazing, and yes my was FCC approved. In the hobby for 45 years, own giant gas planes, quads, dji drones, helicopters, boats and cars I got it all, and this radio blow the market, the garbage of spektrum will be gone in months, futaba you more expensive radio should be 150 dollars, same goes for Frsky line, this Jumper T16 is amazing, now the telemetry screen is use less under the sun, because is in color, but is amazing when you set up you aircraft. This is the product of the year for 2019.

Nice juggling 👏 To late, I brought the tarnais X9plus before they brought this out. I've had it about a year now, and I try to set it up, but ive watched too many videos, and i find it to confusing. Lol So I've gave up. Keep the content coming, love your channel. 👍👍

The only gripe I have with this radio, and it's the same with ALL radios. Why are they not putting USB C ports in these things yet. This Jumper T16 Pro even takes it back another generation with mini USB, not even micro. UGH!!! USB C has been the standard for well over a year now with phones, tablets and PCs. Obviously, it wouldn't be used much on a radio, but seriously, mini USB? It's not something that would keep me from buying the radio, but COME ON, JUMPER!!! Kudos on the addition of hall effect gimbals and keeping the price almost the same though!

Boys in your last post on this radio you made mention of "quality" problems with the T16 which Jumper seemed to acknowledge (refusing to send you a review unit). Have Jumper done anything to improve the quality of the unit? One such example would be the scroll bar......they have a reputation breaking at the upper mounting point. Looks to me they have just chucked Hall effect gimbals in and nothing else. The new gimbals are great but if the radio is unreliable because the buttons break etc then who cares what gimbals she's got !

is it compatible that it is usable on the pc for a simulator?

Wow! That transmitter seems like it can do it all. Still thinking I will go for the XLite for size.

Thanks for the video! I got the Jumper T16 with those Hall gimbals and they feel very springy to me - It's not very smooth moving the stick cross the center points - Do you know if there are any adjustments you can make there to make them a little more smooth?

(Getting Hall effect gimbals was the final push) Question: With the improvements made, did Jumper beef up the screen selector roller? I've read several comments that it easily broke, and to press only on the lower part of it. Fingers crossed that they did....

I’m thinking of upgrading or just having a back up transmitter to my aurora9. So I am wondering if the jumper will bind with my hitec optima receivers. I did see hitec as you scrolled through but I’ve done some searches and there seems to be conflicting info. Hope you can help.

Just wondering if they fixed the roller mechanism because it was breaking if you press on it to hard??

Will this also control surface receivers? That could come in handy if it did.

Hi Basil I want to share a summary of my experience with Jumper comunity thinking it might be usefull for someone Jumper´s Oddyssey I bought my Jumper T16 in Grayson Hobby few days ago. After using it 10 minutes the Jumper failed, displaying "STORAGE WARNING bad radio data ". Following GH instructions I took out the SD card, formatted in the PC, copied the files from the link GH send me and again "STORAGE WARNING bad radio data "". So, Jumper working, SD card working (in the PC) the trouble might be in the connection between both: the SD card board. I opened the Jumper, took out the SD board, cleaned the ribbon cable and the card contacts, shut it again and "STORAGE WARNING bad radio data ". Ok, might be the SD card board. I asked GH for a replacement. While waiting for GH to answer I decided to replace the original XX SD card (512 mb) for another Kingston(2Gb) of my old phone. I formatted, copied files, inserted in the Jumper and "STORAGE WARNING bad radio data ". So, with my blood pressure increasing I decided to try to contact directly Jumper.xyz from China Few hours later I received JUMPER SUPPORT (JS from now on) instructions, similar to those GH send me but more detailed. I told JS that I had done such things but with no results Yesterday I recieved from JS an amazing picture with photos and graphics and hyper clear instructions of 5 steps (that I will send to GH to share with you) Start linking the Jumper with the PC in bootloader mode (pressing T1 +T4 + Power) I follow them using my Kingston 2mb SD instead of the original , format, copied files and "STORAGE WARNING bad radio data " Told JS that no results and they asked what was the display showing in my PC. "Three volumes" I said. "No", they told me, "there should be two". .... I took away the SD and insert it in the PC to see if there was any difference but nothing, 3 drives When I reinsert the SD in the Jumper the volumes where no longer there.... It seems as if you take away the SD Card from the Jumper, SOMETIMES something happens so that your drives will be not recognized until you do this process again. Today checking the SD card I discovered that, as the SD card was used in a phone, it was partitoned in 2 volumes, one for android and another with data From the PC I could format the 2 volumes but I couldn t erase the partition I found and installed in my PC a soft called "SD Card formatter" So I insert the SD card in the PC, erased the partition and formatted Installed again SD in the Jumper, linked with PC in Bootloader mode and formatted again but this time from the PC and with THE SD INSIDE THE JUMPER Copied all the files and also one called "opentx.sd.cardversion" that by default is invisible. (thank you JS for the tip ) To do that you have to change the parameters of the file manager (control panel - device manager - view - show hidden devices) to make all files visible. Once a file is visible, you can copy it. Power on my JUMPER T16 and yeeeessss. I recovered the original screen

Question to Grayson Hobby, can i binde HiTec Rx´s with the Jumper? i have a lot of HiTec recivers due to i for the moment use HiTec Aurora9x

besides the hall gimbels the pro has a built in multi protacol module with antenna on the top of the transmitter so crossfire module is easy plug and play great upgrade

Any chance you guys could recommend a good place for reference material on OpenTX? I have found a couple of issues and can't find good info on the web. One example is: in OpenTX companion 2.3.5 both backup buttons are greyed out, and I can't figure out why.

Alert !!! I just got the Jumper T16 Pro. To work with dsm2 and dsmx receivers BOTH internal RF and external RF have to be ON in the model setup menu. After hours trying to make it work with the internal RF only and no response I try both on and wala!! works.

2:02 Did you ever find out which it is? The defaults for me are way too heavy. Love the radio otherwise, but this will be a killer for me if I don't find a solution. I've completely removed the tension screws on the gimbals, still super heavy.

Hi all, Can anyone tell me how to get FrSky and a Motive Rc D8 Rx to report the rssi and the a2 pin under telemetry on the Jumper T16 Pro. Just cant think of what else to try.

Just ordered a T16 Pro from your web site today. If I remember correctly, it was from a link on Joshua Bardwell's youtube channel. I need to get a charger for those batteries. I ordered the batteries because I wanted an extra set. Now I'm need to order another pair. Oh well. Anyway.... where can I find a charger for those batteries? I could not find one on your site. ;o)

I simply use the original Jumper T8SG Multi Tx for my micro quads...does very well....."IF" i have to get a new one at some point, appears this one will be the ONLY One they will have .......lol

Install the foam circle on the inside of the battery door and will not be in the way of the sticker on the back of the battery box.

How good are the emulated protocols? I never read how good they are, They are reversed engineered protocols so for the most still different from the original but working, but how good? For those cheap, nearby ‘toys’ I have no problem with it but will you use this on your $1000 model?

haahaha this is not a fear judgment between qx7 or x7 regarding the balance, because you guys don't have put the adapter that cames with the taranis rádios. But it´s ok. :) i like a lot the Jumper radio.

Nice video......but I have to call BS on your comment about the QX7...S (something you failed to say, feature set aside). The balance is based on length, placement, tension, and design of the lanyard. My QX7S balances just fine with my free lanyard I got at a football game. I will be more than willing to post video to show such, as long as you link me from this video......jk but I will be more than happy to prove the point (even my xlite balances well with the newbeedrone lanyard #freegift)

Hi Basil. I dont know why you encourage people to buy this radio now. I bought one to Grayson Hobby a week ago and after unpacking the Jumper and using it about 10 minutes it appear this message STORAGE WARNING bad radio data press any key and the radio became inusable your support team (ticket #001683 created) told me to replace the files of the SD, thing which I did and reboot the radio, also done but nothing happened, error still there and inusable radio. I told them that as the radio worked fine for 10 minutes, it was not a sofware problem but a hardware, located in the SD card board. Since then, 5 day ago no notice from Grayson Hobby what makes me think that you dont have the replacement parts nor the skills to repair it.. So wait a couple of months (or years), buy the replacements.... and then encourage your customers to buy it.... thank you
