Please stop apologising for your tutorial, it’s wonderful and we would all love to see more. Love what you made with tiny family photos, so beautiful. If you feel you can, please make more tutorials, we all love your work and would love to see more. Thank you so much. 😀🇳🇿
Aw thank you Carolyn🥰 the support I have received has definitely encountered me to keep going, so watch this space. Thank you for being a part of why I will make more!
Sara-Lee, you are too hard on yourself... I think you are wonderful to show us what and how you do things. Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day, and if you keep up doing this, you will soon be a pro at it. You make everything look so good. I hope you don't mind, but I am copying some of your journal ideas and want to sell the journals in my Etsy shop. They probably won't sell though because I don't know how to do youtube. I think you have a bright future on youtube, you have a big and growing audience, so please don't stop now. I will be 64 in four days (wow, hard to believe how time has gone on) and you give me so much inspiration to try, anyway. Thank you!!!!
Hi Nina 🥰 thank you for your kind words ❤️ and no, I don't mind at all! I have found that my journals sell through the youtube video, not by people finding them on etsy, so you might want to take the plunge ! If you can work etsy, you can work youtube! if you do a shout out , that would be great so i can come watch, follow and support you back! 😊
I think you should keep doing these step by step tutorials. You are helping so many of us. The world has a very judgemental and critical part to it, and this is what can hurt and damage our self esteem. But so much more of the world is loving and your tribe will be drawn to you and show their appreciation, support and love. Even though you don’t know me, I have been watching, and I am one of them. Keeping living your joy. Donna xx
Aaw Donna, thank you so ver6 much! Your words of encouragement make me want to do more. Who cares about the naysayers eh? Even if 1 person gets some ideas from this it's worth sharing 😊 thank you
As someone who asked for tutorials I'm so happy you did , it was a pleasure to watch your creative process and wow that paperclip is stunning , thank you so much I really hope you do more 😊
Excellent video. It's a pleasure to watch "real crafting" with options and deciding what looks best as you go. I loved it because it's the way most of us craft by the seat of our pants. Please do more.❤🎉
I'm just happy I have something to offer, and now, so glad that I don't seem to irritate people as much as I thought! 😆I will keep up the sharing. Thank you for your support and taking the time to watch and comment 🥰
Aaaw bless you, thank you so much! 🥰 I have a couple things I want to share, brooch pins/stick pins and rusty flattened bottle caps i found on my driveway, if that interests you, watch this space 🤣
Yes you absolutely need to continue with tutorials! You taught me something today - adding that punched hole at the top to hide the paperclip fully...genius lol Love how you have used the film strip and eeek the sneak peek at your DT project ...I CAN'T WAIT! xox
your channel is going to keep growing because you are so talented! You are so appreciated by us...keep creating and showing us how you do ALL the things because we love everything you make!!
Hello Sara, I love your tutorials. I am so in awe of your work. Ignore any mean comments because their jealous. I, for one, love to hear you talk, you have a soothing voice, and I love your accent.❤❤❤ Please keep doing tutorials. You are amazing at them.
Oh Sara-Lee, you are too hard on yourself! Your video was really spot on. When I saw you had a new video out, I could hardly wait to watch it as I just absolutely love your creative talent and seeing your process, is a definite bonus, so please keep “em coming”😀👍
You are doing a fabulous tutorial…I would NOT be able to tell you’re not experienced if you didn’t tell it! Please keep on sharing and doing tutorials because you’re a wonderful teacher…very easy to follow, clear speech, such talent….and you seem so relaxed! Great job!!! Keep it up!❤
He he, aaw thank you....I think my cat running through the shot might have given it away 🤣 I feel like I recovered well 😆🤦♀️ thank you for watching and taking the time to encourage 🥰
Don’t be so hard on yourself! This is the 1st video of yours that I have seen so I have nothing to compare it with but I think you did just fine! I like to see videos that are not perfect or staged, but are just crafting like you would if there were no one watching or if it was just a couple of friends crafting together.
Lol "not staged" cat entrance included! There was absolutely no reason she needed to walk through that spot, she just wanted to be in the video lol my cat has FOMO Thank you for your support, based on the feedback Its not as bad as I thought, so I will keep sharing! ❤️❤️❤️
Brakes on! You know the old cartoons where a character is driving and all the sudden they put the brakes on, almost crashing? That's what happened to me when I saw this! Wow what a clever idea, I've kept my negatives for ever and I just love that I can repurpose them now thanks to you! Thank you for sharing this clever tutorial!
Haha that analogy made me laugh, love it! For some reason the Flintstones came to mind 😆 I'm so glad I found an idea to offer you that you hadn't seen before 🥰 thank you for taking the time to watch 💛💛💛
I would love to see more from you. I am very inspired to try this. I have so many old negatives and family photos I could copy and use. What great gifts these would make.Thank you!!
Well Sara-Lee…you randomly showed up on my RU-vid feed and what a blessing! I love your humour, I love this style of tutorial where you only really talk when needed…it often drives me mental when people have this need to talk constantly or fill silences with music. I love what you make, the journal looks beautiful and I’m off now to explore your other videos after I click subscribe.x
Aw thank you SO much! 🥰 Happy to have you alongside me on this journey! Thank you for your support and taking the time to leave such an encouraging comment 🩷
Ok, this is a rad idea! I was just going through old photos and wondered what to do with the negatives, BINGO! I’ll definitely give this a go. Never ever thought to paint them! Also, please keep doing tutorials! If people don’t want to watch the feffing lol they can fast forward! That’s the beauty of YT! Keep’em coming!
Oh my goodness, Sara! You have done an excellent job on this tutorial. You have made it so easy to follow the instructions. I am the same way though. I don't do tutorials because I can't imagine being able to keep it flowing without confusion. Thank you so much for being brave enough to share your process, and it has definitely inspired me! ❤❤❤
You are so welcome! I'm just glad I have something to offer this amazingly talented art community! Perhaps the clarity is related to teaching primary students for 10 years! 🤣 I'm teaching at college now and they pick things up a lot faster!
Love your video and the talking and faffing, lol. These are genius!!! Can’t wait to try this. It’s weird that I just found some negatives and then stumbled upon your video and channel. I’m a huge fan of you after only watching two videos. Thank you for sharing your talents. God bless you from, Beeville, Texas, USA. 🐝
I really appreciated your videos, lovely lady. I love and learn so much from your sharing. Be authentically yourself. Your gorgeous soul shines through everything you do. Sending love from over here in Australia. 🫶❤️ Donna xx
Love this tutorial, it was fun and informative, please keep going with them. Would love to see a tutorial of one of your journals. Thanks for the video xxx
Aaw thank you, lol I've been wondering how to do that as I've been asked by a few people, but I don't have a craft room/desk, I make my journals on my bed 😆
Thanks Christel 🥰 no negatives yet (touch wood) perhaps youtube is deleting them for me 🤔😆 I am overwhelmed by the support in favour of me to keep doing tutorials, thank you for adding to my bucket, I will focus on the positives!
Hi Kathy! Oh im so glad that you got something out of the video, considering that you already use negatives in your journals! Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment 😊💛🌼
This was a fabulous tutorial, Sara-Lee!! I was doing some hidden paper clips today, too, but now that I saw this I'm going to look for some of my old negatives and give it a try. Thank you for sharing your talent with us!! God bless you! 🤗💖
I have watched a LOT of videos, and yours is easily as good and as informative as they are! Loved this idea so thank you for sharing I have just subscribed and look forward to many more tutorials!
Aw Carol, thank you for the support! I have now been convinced that the faffing isn't as bad as I thought 😆 so I will keep on keeping on and work on the faffing 😂
I just found your channel. I really enjoyed watching your tutorial. I love to see different uses for items I wouldn’t have naturally thought of. Great idea. I say keep doing tutorials. I also like to see the boo boos because that keeps it real. Great job.
Aw thank you, isn't it funny how most of us (I am most of us) hate the sound of our own voice on video! I'm so glad it doesn't grate you like it does me 🤣🩷
Wow Sara-Lee that is amazing designing art work in action... very inspiring I can tell you... your 'frapping' if that's what you said is not tedious but educational for those keen to watch... I looove your channel since discovering it 2 weeks ago... thanks heaps... keep up your good work in inspiring all who watch...
Me sumo a tanta energía positiva porfavor eres una genia!!! Gracias por compartir idea tan linda para esas memorias guardadas y sin saber que hacer con ellas me encantó gracias ❤😊 😉
Did you hear me laugh out loud when your furry assistant ran across? My pup likes to lay on top of any project I've decided to play with on the bed, so I have to run interference each and every time! ETA: If you keep making these videos, I am sure to keep watching! I enjoy your style. Hope you feel better soon.
I was wondering who I heard laughing 🤣 that makes me smile "my furry assistant" she'd definitely like to think she is, or more likely my manager/agent 😆 thank you for your kind comment 🩷
Thank you so much for the encouragement, so far so good, maybe I'll ignore the bad comments! Sharing ideas with one person who appreciates it is enough for me! 🥰
Congratulations on being brave enough to step out and begin something new…..each of those artists we admire started just like you are …..an important thing is to remember is that we are each our own competition……. You are doing great….keep it going please! Smiles….
Well said! I tell my students something similar when they have to sit a test "the only person you should compare yourself to is you, measure your progress, measuring yourself against someone else's skill is pointless" you sound like my kindred spirit 🥰
I like this so much, i giggled and enjoy this tutorial very much 👍🏼😍 I’m in the beginning for my RU-vid videos and it’s very helpful to watch others how they do it😊 thank you for this, and i will love to see more tutorials videos from you 👍🏼❤️
Just found you and this video. I think you did a great video and you should continue doing them. I am subscribing. Love this idea even without a negative it would be so pretty. I am going to try this. I love lace and have quite a bit, this is definetly my style.
Oh fantastic! If you come across anything else like that, that you're wondering what to do with, I'm always looking for a challenge with new media that's outside the box, so let me know what it is and I'll give it a go! Thank you 🥰
Aw thank you! I love hearing that in some small way I have contributed and sparked inspiration 😊 I wish youtube comments could post photos! Because I'd love to see it!
