Nova was definitely a Corolla , they partnered up The Zephyr was the first Fox body platform

Theres a few old and forgotten models in that junkyard. It's a shame, since a lot of those random older cars are the only ones becoming more affordable to hot rod around!

Very true. I hate seeing history get crushed. So many cars could just be sold and not sent to the scrap yard for scrap prices. 😔

😄 I never in my life thought I'd hear someone say the words "Man! These 80's GM cars are so cool" hahaha!! Sorry man, I was riding around in those turds IN the 80's and they were definitely NOT cool. GM's little iron duke 4 banger that powered all of those things was pretty reliable, but literally everything else was trash on those cars. 😄 We like what we like though. They'd be a cool candidate for like a k20 turbo swap. I could get down like that...

@@Drakes_Garage I like the early 80's stuff like g body's and f body's. I'm not a fan of those Buick/Olds conglomerate cars, like the Cutlass Sierra and Buick LeSabre

Good grief, skip the aerostar they are the worst driving turd i ever had the experience to work on. Astro vans looked better, drive better, get better fuel mileage, more available aftermarket parts. Still get the 80s dust buster vibe without the pitfalls 89 ford electronics.

But I'm with ya on the olds.... My favorite was a white 2.8 wagon. It either wanted full throttle or Grandpa mode. Bought it for 200$ (probably around 2005) did nothing....not even change a tire, drove it for a year, it needed rear brakes, didn't do it, it needed a radiator, didn't do it, It probably needed a fuel filter at least, but no, i was 20, it ran, so i kept going till i had saved enough for a 89 Chevy truck. But that car never failed to start. Always got me where I was going, and because it was a wagon you could crash in the back.
