Hi my name is Katarina, I'm 28, and I'm an avid car enthusiast. I own a 1981 ford mustang. My 81 is a pretty much base notchback with the 200 inline 6 that has a bunch of mods including a t5 manual, 8.8 with 3.55s and a lsd, and a bunch more. Plus a 1981 Mercury Capri 200 inline 6 4 speed SROD. I pretty much live and breathe vehicles. Everything from muscle, imports, trucks, modern, old take your pick. I know a ton about cars due to a ton of research and working on the cars that I have.
Are you interested in any digital media art? Or any printing on shirts? My friend @harling motorsports does an exceptional job at it. She can do custom work of your car or really anything. She can even print regular pictures too on clothing. Get in touch with her for more info. ...

The Impala is a 77-79 but is hard to tell the year with the taillights and grill gone Caprice is top of the line. the old green car with suicide doors is a 49-50 Mercury or Monarch. The Volarie is a 76-77 the 78s had a differnt grill in it.

between the Eagle and the Ranchero it is a Mercury Monarch.

Hi Katarina. The other AMC you were trying to think of was the Gremlin. It was replaced by the Spirit in 1979, but still shared the same sheet metal. The Aspen was Dodge's version of the Plymouth Volare, both of which were made from 1976 to 1980. The Impala was the top of the line over the Biscayne and BelAir. The Caprice was introduced to the US market in 1965 but think it came to Canada in 1966.The Caprice became the top line model, although also offered plain Jane models in the late 80's when it became the only full sized Chev.

No fair, much of what you have there has less rust than what we have down here in Pennsylvania. Damn you PennDOT and your obsession with salting the hell out of the roads lol Btw that “stubby Bob” lookalike truck is an old Dodge Long before the slant 6 but some of the “tower of power” DNA is in that old Flathead

TJ is round headlights...YJ is rectangle so that is a YJ.

The fox body has a 4 cyl bellhousing. Somebody would want that 3 spoke steering wheel from the 5.0 LX. The early 85 CFI 5.0 cars had 2 fuel pumps and single exhaust. The later 85s had the single in-tank pump like the 86 and up cars and dual exhaust. I believe the late 85s had the roller capable blocks with the forged TRW pistons like the carbureted cars had, but they ran a flat tappet cam in the roller block.

I believe the Toyota van is based on the TownAce; the HiAce was larger. I don't know if they got an actual name in Canada; they were simply "Toyota Van" in the US.

Great video, love junkyard trips. Too hot to go down here in Texas. I know you're mostly a Ford girl, the Fiero was made from 1984-88. The Impala was more base and the Caprice was the top of the line. And you were talking about the table in the CR-V being worth money but completely walked past two cars that can also have high dollar accessories. The two yellow Azteks next to the Impala. The tent can bring $200-450, backpacks bring $100-150, seatcovers - $100-150, center console coolers - $50-100, rubber floor mats - $50-150, bike racks - $100-200 (there were inside and outside bike racks that were branded GM accessories, the inside bike racks are impossible to find and can command a premium, it's one of the only accessories I do not have for my Aztek.

@@jayb.5017 The impala was the upper trim. 3 tailights. The caprice was lower with only 2 tailights.

@@KatarinasGarage Nope, the Caprice was always top of the line since 1965, in 1977-79 (which that car is due to having the aeroback window), the Caprice had 3 tails with the reverse lights underneath and the Impala had two tails with the revese light in between. In the mid 80s, the Impala nameplate was dropped and called the Caprice while the top of the line was the Caprice Classic. Up there, you could still get the Bel Air until 1981 too which was the lowest model, the Bel Air was dropped down here in 1976 in favor of the Impala S which was the lowest level available.
