Would you like to bake your own bread with as little effort as possible?
With this tutorial I will show you how to make enough dough to bake at least 3 breads. Based on the Artisan Bread method. And best of all, the dough will keep in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. So brilliant and so simple, work once and you bake the bread as needed, when you want it and when you need it.
The longer the dough sits in the fridge the more sourdough flavour it gets.
The ingredients:
1000 gr. flour (e.g. wheat, spelt, wholemeal)
700 ml water (max. lukewarm)
1 sachet dry yeast/ or 1/2 cube fresh yeast
1 weak teaspoon sugar
3 heaped tsp. salt
Bake the bread at 200 degrees O/U for 50-70 min.
The bottom must be nicely browned.
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees with a bowl of hot water.
