George Lewis was very popular there, in the fifties. Only found this last night. 74 this year, and a Kid Ory fan for 60 years, wonderful music. From the UK.
I Love You Guys & Gals !!! And this is on my top ten Favorite Praise Songs or just anywhere anytime songs. You did this so Gloriously, Greatly, And Beautifully. Thank you All Very Much !!! May GOD Bless You And Keep You Posting these Kinds of songs And Your style of Music !!!
The phenomenal bliss of every face is proof for sure; that music does bring us all to our best selves, it is in these moments where we all resonated true beauty, in syncopated harmony. In my kitchen, I did plea along with them all. loud and with as much bliss as they all did resound on that day, straight to the Lord to "hear my plea".
Agree, and this from a guy who was a regular at the Hall during George Lewis' tenure. She mirrors his phrasing quite well. She has obviously studied him.
@@harrybeau1712 The first part of the tune the piano player is terrible. She seems to have never heard it before and is seeing the chart for the first time. Then she shows her ability. Her last solo is excellent.
@@markhorton3994 that just happens sometimes, last week The same thing happened to me with this song I came in on a session at my university as the newest member and the leader drew the chords on a whiteboard then immediately started playing.
Oh Good God . . You kids are really awesome . And play the most beautiful music of the last century ( according to Dr Hans Rockmacher . Professor of the free university of Amsterdam ) with a zeal and soul I admire . Keep in the gospel and claim your reward in the sweet by and by ! Love you all ! From Kenneth
Brilliant! Shaye Cohn from Tuba Skinny adds a wonderful dimension to a superb, gifted band with a sensational clarinetist. I do wish they would smile and signal that they are enjoying the music as much as we do! All the best to a very gifted group.
Wow, I've been watching these guys play because I got really into this music through Tuba Skinny. Didn't know they had played with Shayne. 凄い。びっくり。本真に。嬉しいになった
I LOVE this. IT is so talented and also so unique to see a Japanese ensemble doing it soooo well. Thank you Shayne! This is very very good and I have sent it to my family and freinds.
of the many things i love about Japanese culture is how open and interested in everything the rest of the world produces they are, on top of their own marvellous culture...
These good people clearly love what they are doing. That is really what music is all about and that young clarinetist just put a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye.
Very talented group of musicians. JAZZ especially the N.O. Style always sounds like New Orleans, it really doesn't matter where the Music is played? Japan, Sweden, Canada it all sounds good to me.
Wow! Our friends Asians are not known much for music of this genre but they put a spin on this one. Well choreographed and embellished with all the frill, ornamentation and embroidery. Wonderful Copenhagen! Well done. Marvellous.
First time I heard this played by George Lewis, OMG he was amazing..that was in Manchester England in the sixties, prior to that I have most of his music on LP's and Still play them regularly.New Orleans means Music, Passion, and ability to bring out the best in people. Today's 'popular music'aka noise doesn't even qualify as music.
