The Omron 7 Series Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor is a slimmer, more discreet way to monitor your blood pressure anywhere you are. Just wear this wrist blood pressure monitor and when your wrist reaches heart level it will automatically start taking a blood pressure reading. Each reading taken is compared to internationally recognized guidelines for normal blood pressure levels so you always know whether your reading is safe or not.
This wrist blood pressure monitor is capable of storing readings for 2 individuals - up to 100 readings per person! Or, if it will only be used by 1 person, this monitor can store up to 200 readings. Built-into the blood pressure monitor is an irregular heartbeat detector that will automatically notify you of an irregular heartbeat as it measures your blood pressure. To make your readings more accurate, this Omron wrist blood pressure monitor features Advanced Averaging that automatically averages up to 3 of the latest readings that occurred within the last 10 minutes.
What's in the box: main unit, storage case, 2 AAA batteries, quick start guide, instructions.

I've always been told that you get false readings taking your BP on the top side of your wrist. That it should always be taken with the monitor on the underside of your wrist. When I take mine on the top side the systolic is 15 to 20 points higher than when I either do the wrist monitor on the underside or when I have it done at my doctors office. Just an FYI.

Yes, you are right about this. After watching this video, I pulled out my manual to see what it said and also looked at the instructions for the BP652 monitor, which was shown in this video. Instructions definitely show to install the monitor with your palm facing up. I saw a drop of over 20 points in the reading when I followed the instructions.

Years have passed but if you're still wondering, the BP monitor that looks like this can't be positioned on the bottom of the wrist. It needs to be positioned so it is on the thumb side of the wrist. That's how the cuff is shaped. If you positioned it on the bottom, you wouldn't be able to position it over your heart and push the start button. I calibrated mine with my cardiologists arm BP monitor and it is within 2 points, both systolic and diastolic.

How do you reset the correct time?

Take off the battery cover. There's an orange button on the left and a gray button on the right. Press the orange button however many times you need to get to the number you want to set. When I did it, my first choice was the year, which is weird because there's a space between 20 and 24. From there it's month, day, hour, minute. Hour only has AM and PM, no military option. When you are finished, just let it blink until it stops. If, like me, you want to clear the memory to get rid of the funky dates/times or just want to start fresh, press the memory button and, while still pressing, hold down the start/stop button for 2 seconds or until the screen shows a series of dashes.

Can ANYBODY just show the complete cycle so we get an idea how long it takes, how fast it inflates/deflates? Just another useless 'review'

I checked with a stopwatch. It takes about 30 seconds once you press the start button. If the light doesn't turn blue and you have to fiddle with positioning to get the orange light off and the blue light on, it will take longer to start, of course. That doesn't happen very often for me but it can get annoying. It's the only annoyance though. I've had this cuff for 10 years and it works great.
