They had 1 week to learn this. They shot the video in their basement, and of course you know by now the dad shoots the video and the oldest brother edits it. They were asked by Wendy Dio herself to do it. They were given an unreleased extended version of this track by Vinny Appice (Dio's former drummer). Lzzy Hale from Halestorm was impressed as well. It's safe to say they nailed it.

This was Liliac's tribute to the man they all respect but it was also Melody Cristea's personal tribute to the man who was and is her musical inspiration and hero, The Great Ronnie James Dio.

Its a pleasure to watch reactors when Melody starts off soft then goes for it , they are always without exception blown away . This song has become my new favourite tribute cover , of course that's only till they bring something new to the table . A question, does your wife listen to Liliac and if so how does she like them ? LILIAC debuted this song live on July 10th, Ronnie's birthday. This was right after the video was debuted on the Ronnie James Dio Cancer Fund Live Event. Needless to say, the audience went nuts!
My reaction to this video is you didn’t know the song, Last In Line. Still a great Reaction to Another Great Liliac Performance. Nobody does a better Cover of Ronnie James Dio than Liliac with Melody. Love watching you become such a Fang. 🤘🎶🎶🤘
Thank you. I was thinking the same. If they are surprised by the soft preamble the home being elevated, they don't know the song. Or even possibly Dio at all.

I've been following there career for 3 yrs now and there talent is insane . For as yough as they still are today it's crazy, mind blowing. Thank god they turned down record companies and are independent. Nothing worse than being a slave to the label and getting robbed like most bands. They have done everything right and are gaining fans all over the world. Bassist Ethan is only 15 and amazing , by the time he hits early 20's he's going to be one of the best , Justin on keys at 13 and currently learning guitar will also be among the best. Sam is already a great guitarist but a few more yrs. And you will be seeing his picture on the cover of guitar player magazine. Omg and Abby, just listen to what she did in Dear Father and some of the comments that Dio Drummer Vinny Appice has made about her drumming. I will say this that right now she is my 3rd favorite drummer behind Neil Peart and Gavin Harrison. And now Melody at 19 is one of the top female vocalists in rock . Plus the crowd they drew at the festival in Montana and Rocklahoma as headliners was insane. On top of everything else they will be performing on there 2nd and the final Kiss Kruise in October , that's just insane .
When you stopped in the intro, I said he isn't familiar with this one. My inner voice was saying wait for it....then it hits ya in the face! Lol Loved your reaction. Ethen is the BOMB. HE'S GOT TO BE THE MOST MUSICALLY VERSATILE MEMBER OF THE BAND. He plays rhythm lead base and mandolin guitars. Thay are all the BOMB. But Ethen, I am most impressed with.
Great reaction no one else on the planet has the voice to do Ronnie James Dio like Melody that is why Wendy Dio requested they do it for the Cancer fundraiser and Vinny Appici Dios former drummer gave them an unreleased version for fundraiser.
