There was only one NPC in all of GTA History that I felt sorry for. It was in GTA: San Andreas, I just yanked some well dressed fool with a nice fade out of his car and started to speed off and he yelled out: "No man! My demos!!" I had to stop the car and give it back lol I had never heard that line before and I totally understood that dude 😂

Iirc that's because there was some event that made the NPCs extra bitchy. But they never bothered to stop the event since they started full time working on on online

⁠@@YoureMadBozo71It’s not a mechanic and it wasn’t some attempt to make it more advanced. They watered down the A.I. and even their Euphoria ragdolls because the game wasn’t running very well. C’mon guys, the A.I. is just designed to become hostile when you stand near them. That’s it. So whether they walk towards you or you stand next to them you’ll get the same response. GTA4 was trying to simulate a working city, GTAV is just trying to sell fake money to gullible folks.

If you try to act like a normal law abiding citizen and actually stand waiting for a green(white?) light to cross the street at a crosswalk, there's a high chance that a nearby pedestrian will just call the cops on you or start fighting you. It's kind of dumb, really.

​@@MiniMackeroni "high chance" not in all my years of playing GTA, while driving properly I have gotten the cops called for anything. The most that has happened is some NPC taking a picture in front of me while the street light is green causing the cars behind to get agro.

@@jud7351 Well that's a quite Expanded topic but I try to explain. Sometimes if you stand still a place where there is a lot of pedestrian traffic they can bump into you and if the npc is neutral he will just come along but if npc is a gang memeber or higly agrresive one he will insult you and tell you to go away, in the worst case scenario he will attack you if you don't actually leave . This scenario is even more likely in places that gang members spawn but if you stay in Broker during time in the game when albanian mob and russian sindicate are enemies of Niko they will attack you even with weapons sometimes . Other scenario is random shooting between police and criminals or traffic accident , sometimes npcs get aggressive towards each other in such situations and start a fight . Im curious you didn't catch that during you walktrough

@@Oliwier-gh1on Man that's hilarious, I remember doing this on purpose and just stay there watching the chaos unfold haha. Even call 911 and request more cops. Same things happens in GTA SA too if for example you stay at ballas territory and they start shooting you but there's a cop nearby. Or when you punch a drug dealer, but there's gangs AND cops nearby.

@@thelonewolf70x7 he left his game running while he went somewhere. most people do it in gta online to build up money but its a battle between the devs and AFK people. if you AFK in gta online you never really wanna own a business because it gets raided alot. for me it gets raided even if i just play the game.

It's to create a constant shootout with the cops, but at that point why not add checkpoints and patrols instead of constant summons of 911 callers? I think even if you add a suspicion meter like Watch Dogs, i bet it will show up randomly and begin increasing even if there was no civilian onscreen! Because it was hidden somewhere else but because some events/crime reactions lack Line-of-Sight checks and the fact that they just made them trigger just for idling, you get random wanted level So yeah these are basically just bugs within events.meta and some other agitated reactions. Fun fact, even restricted areas are weird, like TerritoryIntruded flags will just make 1 scenario able to detect players when to go near it, which all it does makes them be agitated and tell them to fuck off or wanted level if they are security/cop and airfield/armybase restricted areas just instantly give 3-4 star wanted level which atleast that's better if there weren't any stealth related things in the game like vision-cones and things like that. I mean why add "stealth-mode" instead of crouching instead of making stealth more something of whether a ped is unalerted or not, like imagine if you aim at a ped without them noticing, they get marked on the radar for a bit with a cone-of-vision similar to cops, and imagine if all peds even cops are restricted to what they can see within that cone (altrough they can still hear), imagine if 911 callers are marked with a eye icon similar to witnesses in red dead and similar to the icons above callers in watch dogs. Imagine if restricted zones we're bit improved aswell, so instead of making peds be nervous around you (unless your character is weird af) they will ignore you unless you're visible armed or doing anything illegal. And the only way peds will detect you even if you're not doing anything wrong if they are spawned part of a restricted area, like security or staff in some locations public isn't allowed, military locations, back areas of police stations. Peds in restricted areas will always be marked on the radar with a vision-cone and will become hostile or be agitated if they spot you trespassing. That or just remove stealth altogether. Like what does the noise-thing that appears on your radar even do? NOTHING! Why is the last known position always snapped to your player? Well to make cops have sixth sense ofc!! Ofc these would have balance issues with the game and sometimes you want the player to get fast police response say they are on a rampage or something but they can still be balanced out quite easily

It's intentional.. basically.. The main protagonists mentions it, specially Michael, he says that everyone in town is crazy and makes him go wild

@@danone_original wish peds also had special flags like Karen NPCs will more likely to call the cops randomly out of nowhere but if you play as Michael for example wearing a suit and you hang around with business npcs then they don't mind at all as long you don't provoke anyone

They don't attack in 3-5 star wanted levels i presume, since almost all ambient peds flee when cops arrive. It's only army members who don't flee but that's because they share the same AI as cops (just a different blip), oh and mission peds too. Unless animals are excluded from fleeing when cops arrive but yeah, when you're in shootout with non-cops in wilderness, you will attract cougars

Idk why it takes one bite by both of them to kill you. Should b like rdr1 and 2. Why is it the same automatic animation that you can’t escape from?

@@theraiden1018Dogs can only 1 hit you if you have very low health. They have to bite you many times at full health to kill you. Also I have never been killed by a cougar. Really doesn’t happen that much. If you shoot when they are far, they run away. If they are already near you they will chase.

That's why most people pause the game when playing single player.
