It is both ageist and sexist to suggest that that has anything to do with whether said behavior is right or not. It's clearly wrong regardless. That said, whether that makes him a monster who has no place in the Labour party, or someone who got carried away and should apologise, would depend on the context of why he behaved that way. First, I hope that Diane is confirmed as the Labour Party's prospective parliamentary candidate for Hackney North & Stoke Newington. Second, her vote in 2019 was 39,000, her majority was 33,000 (70% vote share), so in the event of her not being endorsed by the NEC (I hope that they will see sense and endorse her), and if Diane were to run as an independent candidate, the most likely outcome will be either that she or the official labour candidate will win. Needless to say, I am very disappointed with the Party leadership that we are in this position.
