If anybody wonder why Professor Zoom didn't dodge the bullet, it's because he was too caught up in his supervillian monologue and listening to the sound of his own voice.
Also some bullets move faster than the speed of sound (depending on the gun used). So... he would have gotten hit before he even heard it coming... right? That's how I explain it to myself, lol
Time travel i mean that may be bad But as long as dceased dont happen were clear thats a timeline we dont want if that happens everyone is extra fucked
As a wise man once said: "We don't need to say "I'll kill you"... because by the moment those words come into our minds... our target's already dead and the deed is done!"
"Not necessarily " Batman is right in this case, He knows when Barry fixes the timeline he will live again, because none of them will happen. Also I was reading DC Rebirth and Reverse flash destroys the letter that Bruce has
the reversing of the timeline doesn't change this because reverse flash from the alternative timeline joined him on his quest, watch the following movie it's the same reverse flash after undoing paradox
You're both assuming there was going to be anything left to conquer. With Atom being turned into the ultimate weapon, a Doomsday Device, I don't think this Earth would have been nothing but a giant rumble of bones on top of bones after that explosion. Ironically, the fate of this Earth was far better than the one it got after Darseid invaded the second time.
@@Death_Korps_Officer im saying if wonder woman successfully killed aquaman without him Activating atom. Darkseid more than likely would've invaded since nobody would be there to stop him.
@@tookhertotheo9604 Especially when the main most powerful beings were down (No Bruce Wayne's Batman Aquaman nor Superman to defend Earth. Not even a Green Lantern)
@@Death_Korps_OfficerI don't think that there will be nothing left. I feel like Luthor has a nuclear proof city somewhere. Plus, after the war, he could blame it all on metahumans Edit: what I mean is that the tension between Atlantis and Themiscyra was pretty obvious. Someone of Lex's intellect would find a way to exploit this.
0:32 That was smart. Shooting him in mid-sentence. Bad guys just can't resist finishing explaining/boasting about their plans. If he had waited until he was done, he might have dodged that bullet.
@@Jpx0999 Bruh, even I heard the sound before the bullet hit Zoom. Edit: And on a 2nd watch with 0.25 playback speed, the sound happened way before the bullet even hit him. There's literally no explanation whatsoever how he did not react to that bullet, heck even low tier superhumans can react to bullets with their back turned and even when they are distracted.
@@Jpx0999 There are but this one didn't, additionally how the heck did Thomas Wayne even sneak up on him? I swear these damn plot armors, even Catwoman tagged Zoom in the comics.
Yeah, no. Even if reverse flash was beating his meat while roasting flash’s shoes, he should have heard and dodged that bullet. He only got shot because it was by an iteration of batman.
0:33 I tried to vibrate my inner molecules to save my brain even as the bullet was tearing through. And in that moment, that very infinitesimal split-second before death, I drew the Speed Force into me with every ounce of will power I had left. And literally by time, I'd expanded my moment of dying into day, maybe weeks.
@@frankchen4229 everything is a little unreal and warped. I feel like I'm walking through water sometimes and when I speed up, I can feel my life slipping away.
Thomas: Don't be stupid. I may be a bad doctor, but even I know a deadman when I see one. *10 Minutes Later* Flash: He's dead. Thomas: Not neccesarily.
They should keep what Thomas Wayne said in the comic ("Doctor's advice: never stand still in the middle of a war"). It would've been so badass. Still an excellent movie
While I agree with the replies here (it's a bit too cheesy) I DO think they should've used the comic version of Thawnes death by getting impaled through the heart with a sword by Batman.
@@icecreamkitty2735 Why you think that(I'm not saying your wrong since everybody has there own opinions), and I literally have a Roblox Character named "Lightning Strike" lol.
The fact that the Reverse Flash we see in Suicide Squad: Hell to pay is the same here, and he is so fast that everything that happened in the other cartoo, it's happening at the exact moment the bullet hit his brain. For Batman, and Flash, they only see him fall and die, but before that he had time to go to another reality to see if he could somehow become immortal. That was pretty neat.
Kurdati It doesn't matter because even if he heals his whole head, then Thawne will forget how to cross the timestream. Getting shot in the head will wipe out all of your memories. The same logic also applies to Wolverine.
With the flashes regeneration its that if there not dead theyll heal back to normal so anything that just one shots them (heart brain etc...) will just kill them
I just realized, they never did the whole "Reverse Flash being a time paradox" bit for this, Thawne was at the point to where he was ready to die to kill Barry
The funny thing is, Eobard is The Flash's biggest fan, deep down he does this to make great Flash stories, if Barry hadn't done it, he would've found a way
When Thomas said "not necessarily," I believe he actually meant that it didn't matter because he wanted Flash to change the timeline again. Thomas isn't as smart as Bruce, I doubt he knew that Reverse Flash would combine with the speed force or some shit and take a week to die.
residentevilfreak500 Because Quicksilver knew about the bullets, he saw it coming. He just clearly wasn't fast enough. However Batman is a professional, he's quiet and sneaky, so Thawne never saw it coming. He was too distracted taunting Barry. He doesn't have Spidey senses or anything. But if he did, he would've grabbed the bullet it and throw it back to Batman.
He was distracted monologuing and Thomas Wayne was behind him, he was so distracted gloating he didn’t see it coming. The cause of death for many villains, monologuing
@@Hirabeatz Well, some type of guns fire bullets faster than the speed of sound though. Maybe reverse flash didn't hear the gunfire fast enough. That's how I like to think of it.
They would be equal like they always have but in this universe since PZ is a paradox, in theory he could generate speed force since the accident never did happen. Where PZ got his speed
Thawne sure enjoyed tormenting Barry in both versions of Flashpoint, but his biggest mistake was his ego, which is why in both versions, Thomas was able to kill him since he let himself be distracted taunting Barry.
The sadder thing is I think Reverse Flash was phasing when he was taunting the Flash. So if he'd just waited a second longer, he could've dodged the bullet.
I would've died if flash opened that letter out of curiosity and it read, "Remember when you were making out with your first girlfriend. And you came right as she touched your leg? It was me, Barry!". The true flashpoint paradox.
