To Jack Spencer, I would reply that referenda cannot be rerun until the results of previous ones have been carried out and losers cannot say they must have another and another until or unless they get the result They want. By your logic if the Remain side had won then the Leave side would also want another referendum, then another and so. Britain could have a referendum on the EU every month. The wording of the referendum was flawed, a second referendum following the leave victory Should have been followed by one on whether to accept a leave deal with the EU or a no deal Leave, but that did not happen. For me it is not about whether to stay or leave the EU but the fundamental principle of accepting A democratic vote. Otherwise people should not pretend that they live in a democracy, certainly not A proper one. As I said, if people want another referendum then wait until the result of the first has been implemented. In future though, maybe there should be no more referenda on any subject, and let politicians Decide. If people feel so strongly about issues like Brexit then they can always vote for new parties Like the Brexit Party, rather than the traditional ones, Labor, Conservatives, Lib Dem etc. Since the Conservatives are so split over Europe maybe it is time for the opposing sides to no Longer pretend they belong to the same Party and split into 2 new parties. Or simply, the pro-Brexit Members, including Boris Johnson, could join the Brexit Party and the Remainers stay in what is left Of the Conservative Party. In that way voters would know that obviously Brexit Party stands for Brexit and the Conservatives for Remain.
