The idea that that is comparable to what Israel is doing is very misguided. You can debate whether Israel's response is justified, but civilians do die in war. It's awful and I feel just as much pain for the Gazans as I do the Israelis who died, but that does not mean Hamas' and Israel's actions are morally the same.
