Great video! If the rank & file witnesses would read their bibles they’d see that there are so many scriptures that disprove everything that the GB tries to say to get them to believe that disfellowshipping is God’s loving arrangement. It’s not even an arrangement from God period!

Disfellowshipping is all about information/communication control. If someone gets shipped, JW's won't listen to anything that person has to say. So any doubts or questions are instantly in the JW mind disregarded as possible apostasy. Also it is an amazing stick to hold over congregation members' head. For a "born in", getting shipped rips away your entire social construct. You must not approach this from the sales pitch they give for it. As in all things look for the result to understand the intention.

Answer this question tho . . . . When a HUSBAND gets disfellowshipped the wife is still expected to have RELATIONS with him. But if you have a child at home that is over 18 years old, the parents would be counseled to kick the child out. You child will always be your child, but your spouse will not necessarily always be your spouse. Crazy what people do in religion by not thinking for themselves.
