If everyone decided to not follow the disfellowshipping process what could the GB do? Nothing!

I'm not disfellowshipped, but I never felt like I was part of the congregation. I could be sitting alone and no one would come to talk to me. I don't attend meetings. They have done so much damage and there excuse is always that they are imperfect. They were always ready to disfellowship anyone. They have no right to tell you . That you didn't repent. They have done to many things that I would Never go back.

It's truly heartfelt. I felt you on sooo many levels. You're a great speaker! You said EVERYTHING I think/feel and want to say! TYSM for speaking up and speaking out with the REAL TRUTH! I'm a 51F who was raised in the borg from age 2 and have suffered from It's abuse and toxicity all my life! FULLY woke up in 2019 and was devastated. I wrote a book and have since had to go no contact with my entire brainwashed, narcissistic family. It hurts so much everyday but trying to stay in their lives without staying in the borg was impossible. Always chaotic and they were extremely hateful towards me, which I could no longer mentally, emotionally or physically endure. I went once again into self preservation mode. Now, I'm all alone but at peace. Thanks again for your video. Hope it reaches the right ears/minds. Much love and respect to you!!💜✌🏾

This is currently happening in our household. My husbands daughter reached out through text after more than a decade of shunning him, her mom, siblings, etc. Keeping her children from knowing them. It has caused a lot of pain and suffering. Emotional turmoil. Thanks for speaking out about this incredibly infuriating turn of events.

Too little too late. Why does the rank and file JWs need their governing body to tell them not to act like self righteous jackasses to former members?

Excellent video Thankyou brother. I am from queensland australia. 35 years for me in conditional love. Disassociated, from that day I was dead. I am free at 81 years of age. Just think if I stayed I could have worn pants to meetings no more times written down, could have said a quick hi to disfellowshipped ones. I am fully awake and feel sorry for those slaves of the GB that are waiting to be told to jump, run, love, hate, not allowed to read any other literature other than the watchtower. Goodness me what wasted years I have spent. No more I am happy and comfortable.

I wouldn’t care what they stop doing! The rules have stopped having any bearing on my life 30 plus years ago!!

Excellent So very true. Who would have to show forgiveness for 15 years of shunning. The victims, (Us) . who had no contact for so long. Takes a mighty person to forgive that!

I'm not associated with JW or whatsoever, just someone who randomly finds it empowering when people leave the JW organization (realizing its a load of 💩). That being said, if JW stops shunning, I don't get why people just wouldn't leave the organization overall (thinking of all the lives ruined, deaths caused, etc.). Even the recent changes (change to apparel, now accepting beards, etc.) Is enough reason for people to leave. Imagine the amount of people who were harassed for simply their clothing or beard.

Permission, yes. But NOT when it comes to Apostates. We’re still “dangerous”.

That would be great but I wouldn’t go back. The families already destroyed, years gone by, WT won’t even contact you if your family member dies...like saying Blood Transfusions being a “conscience matter”, after a child has died...I think I’d lose it. I mean, have we not been “crucified” enough? I’d have a potent, powerful “response”(?) “reaction”(?) that I know I’d need therapy for, like immediately. That’s how I’d feel. Or, with the Grace of Jesus GOD, I might be calm. I’ll tell you the truth: my 80-plus brother and I haven’t been together for years because I’m an Apostate for disagreeing with doctrine. I won’t know if he’s hurt or ill or dead because no JW would let me know. My nephew and niece ran away a long, long time ago. The only reason my bro is still in is because his JW wife died and they tell him if he leaves, he’ll be destroyed and will never see her. So in his old age he sits and prays for the Destruction of everyone so we can get this all over with. How would you feel? What would you do? I’ve been praying for him for years and years. I KNOW MY GOD understands him and will bring him to love and Heaven. Screw WT. But I know my prayers have saved my brother. Thank you. ❤

Quite frankly, I would respond to a family member that shunned me, and now want to engage in a relationship with me because a group of Uninspired an infallible men said its okay talk to me. Those family members would be extremely disappointed. I would respond in kind.
