JXR Performance F1 Rear Brake Light Install | 2015+ Subaru WRX & STI
In this video, I show you how to install the JXR Performance F1 Rear brake light! It is often referred to as the 4th brake light or the rear fog light. This kit can be installed on the 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 Subaru WRX & STI.

Plug n play is the CLEANEST way to install. Plus, if you ever want to trade or sell the car, you can tell them that they can remove it with NO exposed wires or potential issues.

@@noahchavarria8008 for the most part yes. Each company that sells F1 lights should almost alwasy sell a plug and play harness aswell. Trust me its worth the extra money to get one

I used the plug and play harness so I could run it with my diode dynamics harness. If you haven’t done the tail as turn mod, I highly recommend it. Completely changes the rear end

Installed mine today and fully relied on this install video since the JXR guys provided absolutely ZERO instructions with the product. Looks great! Just hope it holds up to the test of time.

How has the jxr light held up over the last couple months? Myself, I think I'd prefer the plug in play harness for 20 bucks simply because I don't like molesting stock stuff. Knowing me I'd screw something up and it would just be a headache and a paycheck to fix. Love the SUBARU WRX.

My contractor buddy said it’s not necessary because the voltage is so low. I did a few lighting mods without unplugging the battery.

I connected the right wires / colors and the light is solid. No flashing just stays on. Lol I’m not sure what it could be? 🤦🏼‍♀️

They usually ship in 2-3 business so totally normal! If you got a quick connector they test every unit that goes out and that adds a little time!
