The large model railway represents a section of Vienna. The models are built 87 times smaller than the real railways. This scale is called H0 and is often used for model railways. The little characters in that kingdom have their own lives! Watch how the railway and roads are maintained, how rescue workers, police, public utilities and firefighters work, how passengers get to their destination safely and how people spend their free time, for example at the Danube Island Festival.
Today, the huge facility already covers an area of ​​270 m². Next to be built are the Wachau, the Semmering, the popular Salamander of the cog railway on the Schneeberg, the Mariazell Railway and the OMV oil refinery.
Later, all Austrian federal states will join in until the model is over 1,000 m² in size.
