I have horses and dogs and trail ride a lot in mountains. I always carry vet wrap instead of ace bandage because it self sticks, cheap and disposable. Vet wrap, duct tape and baling twine never leave home without.
I can not tell if Mike has sun burn, is a chameleon trying to blend in with his shirt, or if a hot girl is behind the camera. Just joking Mike is a fellow Iowa boy
Thank you for doing this one; Love Mike; especially his "rants" on SOFREP. This was the type of gear that I always wanted or tried to purchase for our German and Dutch Shepherds (long story on those two...) Again, Thanks Bryan and Mike
I use a very similar collar (Redline K9 Maxtac Adjustable Nylon K9 Id Collar) on my Mastiff & I absolutely love it! I purchased it in June of '17 & it's still going strong!
I've got a short hair dachshund, which is by far the most tactical of tactical dogs, who rips apart toys like it's his job (I get it kinda was his job but I digress). I've tried the black Kong's, I've tried the Kong toys with the 10/10 rating, I've tried every thing I've found that says "unbreakable" or anything to that effect. If it lasts a hour of actual usage I consider it a high quality toy, Kong tennis balls last a few minutes before he's got the cover off and he's ripping chunks off. I know one school of thought is that I need to work with him to not attack the toys like that, but he doesn't bite/chew on anything aside from toys so it's not like it's a behavioral thing, and I kinda think it's messed up to tell him not to do what he was designed to do. Does anyone have a recommendation of what I could try? Maybe something used in training police dogs or something to that effect? Thanks in advance.
Mick Funny umm yes...? I would know that dog would stop at nothing to protect my family…if something bad were to come from its past it would present itself very shortly but after testing that dog and getting aquatinted with it I'd take that over any dog you could get from Petco. What do you propose done with retired military/law enforcement dogs?
Mike, For civilian use. Put a reflective stripe around the outside of the collar. I cant count how many dogs it has kept me from hitting with my car at night,
Is it correct that Vetericyn wound and skin care spray can safely be used to also flush the dogs eyes ? This would be good in my hiking bag especially if i can use it for pretty much anything including dogs eyes. That would allow me to make the first aid kit smaller. thanks
I'VE DONE SO MANY VETTING PRACTICES WILDLIFE LIVESTOCK DOGS AND CATS SINCE I WAS A TEENAGER AND BELIEVE ME YOU'RE TELLING THE TRUTH I EVEN STILL GOT AN OLD VET BOOK BESIDES WORKING WITH THE VETERINARIAN TO HELP OTHERS AND I MISS HER SO MUCH
Great channel dude. I am in the process of starting a channel called Field Tested. I will be testing tactical equipment and video reviews. I would love to give you a shout out.
Major fan of Mile Drop Podcast and Uninfluenced Podcast, watching this because Mike is hilarious and maybe he will say "Choke Yourself" atleast once....
I was thinking about myself in that green shirts situation and I would’ve looked ten times worse, I’m so jittery and energetic I would literally be shaking trying to sit still that long, Idk if anxiety has any influence but I’m always so shaky I’d look retarded compared to green shirt guy 😂
WHEN I WAS A TEENAGER AND I'M TALKING ABOUT THE 80S AND 90S AND THEN EARLY 20000 I MADE MY OWN LEASHES AND HALTERS FOR BREAKAWAY IS WHAT WE USED TO CALL IT HALTERS
Just like a horse you don't put animals in pain with collar sometimes you gotta I'm specially if you got a release if they do break away and running away and they got a call at all I don't see what that comes in handy
YOU CAN KEEP THE VET AND PRICES DOWN WHEN YOU KNOW WHAT THE HECK YOU'RE DOING YOU'VE HAD EXPERIENCE ON IT UNTIL YOU REALLY NEED ONE BELIEVE ME I'VE HAD VETS HIRE ME AND I WORKED FOR HIM TO KEEP THEIR CUSTOMERS PRICES DOWN SINCE I WAS A TEENAGER
