Twice continue on their journey of maturation and I like it. The imagery in the MV of exiting Eden mirrors this journey somewhat as they've eaten of the forbidden fruit and lost their innocence. The dirty sounds in the dance break occur after they've left...

Firstly, as a Sana bias I am feeling fed today. The Deep voice saying more right before the chorus really threw me off the first few times but I have gotten more used to it the more and more I have been listening to the song. The first time I listened to it I felt like I liked the last chorus more because the other chorus' felt less Twice-y but the last one felt more Twice-y to me, does that make sense. I really like this comeback overall :)

What i like is that the hype for the chorus is built from the first verse and not from the pre-chorus. They started the verse with minimal elements (almost just vocals) then add more as the verse goes on, and then add more and more on the pre-chorus, so the result is a super satisfying chorus drop.

I like the way you produce the video: when you are not talking you bring the MV as the main screen and when you do talk extended time, you pause the video.

Like you mentioned in your other videos, K-Pop definitely does mash up many genres together. It's aways a great experience watching your videos.

The visuals are so amazing I can't even start. I completely agree with you on the "summery-but-still-cool" vibe of the song, though I feel like the chorus kind of lacks that usual twice hook for me, maybe as I listen to it more and more (hehe) it'll get better. THE RAP THO OMG IT'S THEIR BEST EVER HOT DAMN. Also PARTY PEOPLEE!!!

Fantastic reaction, as always. To me this song feels a lot more GOT7-ish than influenced by ITZY, but they are on the same label after all. It also reminded me to Zara Larsson's Lush life, but it looks like she's actually one of the producers, so I'm not surprised by that.

We all want more & more Twice

It's so hard in Kpop to be critical for fear of being labeled an anti, a hater, and something who is toxic. Yes the song is good, yes the girls are gorgeous, but my god if this isn't my least favorite TWICE track(JP releases included). To me, it just isn't TWICE, had I closed my eyes and just listened, I probably wouldn't have guessed it was TWICE until the chorus, or maybe even Dahyun and Chae's rap(which is their best to date I feel). This song is so radically different from anything else they've done, I have a hard time accepting and enjoying it, it's like a restaurant changing up your favorite meal you've had for the past 5 years, of course I'm going to feel a little jaded. That all being said, I absolutely loved the B-sides, and any one of them would have made a better single, Oxygen and Firework SLAP, and Don't Call Me Again totally took me by surprise(in a good way).

The drop and voice sample mix hit hard in chorus, I wish they added more at the outro drop but well it's a great song, they even had a rap part.

2:04 That slight discrepancy between the groove of those PVC pipe drums in the chorus and the snares in the verse? I didn't notice it at first cause they're so similar, but it's actually a different pattern!

I see it as amateur musician and bedroom producer, More & more its simply have really AAA sound design. in chord progression side, I'm not sure if JYP doesn't include at least at first verse, it's so JYP. If I want to divide it as section MNEK do composing instrument with s direction of JYP. to make the song still have Kpop vibe, same as Zara & Julia do composing Vocal part with the direction of JYP itself I feel JYPent has featured MNEK Zara Larsson and Julia Michael in this project because they want mixing the vibe and the structure of their signature music into TWICE, And I see its very successful. I love the verse >> bridge/hook 1:29-2:05 feels like hearing Major Lazer or any tropical summer edm music. and the dubstep part, it's just ok for me and I get it to show up the great choreography , altought I found it so frickin awesome at the low bassline and good the beat is come with my rap ultimate bias dubu. and at the peak, you can see reference of 1 of zara Larsson popular song ain't my fault, adding adlibs, with high notes and semi notes. which is formula used at modern type of edm and pop like ariana,Zara,Dua,Julia etc etc. So far if I give it number for this songs only as musician, I give it strong 8, And of course as ONCE 100000000000000000000 / 10

Somehow JYP writers/producers never let twice have the rap part in verse 2 idk it’s a bit disappointing how the energy completely drops after the chorus...maybe cause i’m also a blink and i’m so used to that haha anyways i really love this song it’s a summer bop! loved your commentary!

First time I listened didn't get the hang of it. 2nd time I listened on your video and felt the hippy sound. Their MV is quite reminiscent of the trippy Doctor Strange comics and movie (MCU). Also, you're right with 70's feel of the music.

I was really dissapointed by the chorus in a way- it was literally just a glorified dance break. I would preferred if there was a vocal melody for the chorus. It just doesn't feel satisfying compared to FANCY's and FEEL SPECIAL's. But everything else was great! The B-Sides are very addicting. Maybe it will grow on me? I hope though.

I’ve seen a lot of people say that they were disappointed in the drop and the chorus saying that it felt empty. I however think that TWICE needed this, this is a different type of song and they really just needed to shine. Without the little beat drop, I have no clue what they would put it with so I think it works perfectly.
