The seats out of the 10th gen Si work with this generation Fit too. You just have to mod the rails, but the airbags work. Another dude in the fit group did it!
In my case, that check charge system light comes on at idle because the box store brand alternator does not output enough volts at idle. What stops it is when the car senses a load - headlights, AC or rear defroster on. Sick build BTW
How are the hasport mounts working out for you? Does it vibrate a lot? Also how does the smog/ emissions and everything work for this car? Did you have to have a state ref look at it?From what I understand you live in Cali, I’m just curious, I’ve always wanted to swap mine
I love you bro. I didn’t think the gk had mounts are those the GE Mounts from hasport and they work some how? Sorry if this was explained in your other videos but this is the first one I saw. I thought I had to get a different car but I think I’ll try this on my own when I can.
Nice seeing your car today. Such a clean build. Sounds so good! Hey there’s another meet tomorrow called “cars & canes” 3545 Atlantic blvd ,Long Beach. 4-7pm it looks like it’s going to be mostly Hondas by looking at the flyer. Hope ya come through!
Few questions… -What rad are you running and what hoses did you make work to do it? -fuel line connection? How did you make it work? -are you running hondata or just the stock ecu? -o2 sensor from civic? Thanks
I'm running the stock GK radiator. The rad hoses are the PLM Kswap set. The top port hose gets used as is. The bottom port hose needs to be trimmed at the right curbe. It's easy to see when mocking up the motor. Fuel line is from a 2013 Civic Si, fits as is with a little re-routing. I'm running a 2014 Civic Si ECU because my car is a push button. If your car has a Keyes ignition then you will need a ECU from keyed ignition ition swap. Only using the GK primary O2 sensor on a Skunk2 catless down pipe.
That Fit turned out super freaking clean brother👍. And nothing like retaining all the luxuries like A/C and power steering. Speaking of power steering, what setup did you use? I didn’t hear you touch on that unless I missed it. Did you retain the OEM PS or swap it over to electric? Thanks again for sharing your build 💪🫡
Is there enough room to remove the valve coverr if you remove the cowling or is it like 2nd gen where if you need to do any sort of work the whole engine has to come out?
You're probably the first done in english, I'm glad you just gave all of us GK user hope!! May I ask you is the K24Z7 easier than K20A from the 2004-2008 TSX in terms like wiring, programming, etc? thx @@ajbreaks
@@g5h22 I'm not sure. I think that it might be the same since most K-series have 49 pin ECU connectors and our GKs have 51. It gets a little tricky in your GK is push button start but it's very possible
@@ajbreaks what’s the time frame you are looking at? I’m considering kswapping my gk5 next summer. Is it going to be jumper harness for just k24z7 or for older K series like K20a or k24a2?
@@shehankahanda4901 I will make them available for all K series. Finalizing the Z7 first, then the other Kseries. Will be purchasing different Kseries variants and developing harness on my GK5 to insure they work as designed.
