One thing that sets this channel aside from the rest is when you do the rolling through the gears at the end. Gives a better idea of what it would be like driving 👍
I drive a subaru sti, basically stock aside from a fresh engine. It shocks me how fast these honda fit's are. 226 hp sounds insanely fast. I bet it would smoke my subie.
I have 3.5in intake, Skunk2 downpipe and tuned on flashpro in my TSX. Car makes good power and for a heavier chassis keeps up with a lot of things it shouldn’t, especially with a manual.
Do we have more info on the owner who build that fit with the K24 im looking for more info on the build Part list any specific mods ect would be nice to have a nice write up HSG and Brian from Vtec academy did some videos but those number look real good on a daily thanks !
how did he get the crank sensor to work what kind of timing cover did he use i know with my frank k24z7 i had to buy a 500$ special timing cover to make it so i dont have gaps and i could use the crank sensor for my rsx.
The stock r40 timing cover will work just fine. (This CAN change, based off chassis choice and other factors). They are using a K24Z ecu from a TSX. You HAVE to (without going standalone/converting like you did), because they can read the new high resolution crank trigger wheel. Which is attached to the rear of the crank, read by the cps in the girdle. You don't need to convert to the traditional cps setup on the crank snout.
Oh i was just wondering because i thought he mightve been using a kpro. i run a k24z7 in my rsx and had to buy a custom timing cover to do that. @@Tixbomber
Brother I got a k24a out of an accord type s Jpn . Just got it. I own an 2011 civic si with a k20z3 . I want to slap it in but will it work ?? If so what do I have to change ! Nd lastly do I have to change it? What if I just wanted to slap the k24a as it is. & is the power ratio that different between these two motors.
As dumb as it sounds it has that this sounds way too powerful for this car even tho the power isn't insane as far as numbers ok the dyno that car is going to surprise a lot of people
