Would be very nice to see cam removal and bucket change. I have checked and adjusted my valves twice on my LT and both times at least a couple of valves were at the spec limit (48,000 miles and 72,000 miles). The dealer did the first check and I am pretty sure I did not buy any buckets so I don’t think they changed anything. I believe BMW calls for a check every 12,000 miles on the LT, but I think that is overkill given the amount of work involved so I do 24,000 mile checks and no valve has moved out of tolerance by any significant amount, but some will move from mid range to the spec limit in 24,000 miles.
After u line up camshafts and crank how to installing new timing chain and rail guide my tensioner go bad after reassembly needs idea how to put together
I don’t see a part 5. I have heard that the K1600 is a bugger to refill with coolant and needs a vacuum system to do so correctly. How did you do that? Did you obtain a vacuum system or find a workable alternative?
