how do you put the cams back on and alighn the lobes ? in depth of that would be good -taking them off seemed easy and well explained -but i would appreciate the install explained in detail . like how do you place the lobes in relation to the valves ?
I'm thinking I might try an do a Kswap myself. I've never done any engine work before. So, this vid and your other vids are gold to me. I appreciate what you and Trappy do for us. Without this I wouldn't have the faith and knowledge to even fk with it. I'm gonna start shopping for a Civic this Summer and by then I should know exactly what I need to do a Kswap. I'm going for a K24a2 bottom and a K20a2 top. I was looking at the Civic type R head but I'm still researching. I'm trying to get back into the Honda game.
Great video aki, learn so much, make me one go to junkyard or something and break apart a k20 head tht how much I learn💯💯💯💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻😎😎 made it look easy for us
how do you remember every corresponding bolt back to its original hole if your just throwing bolts in a box me personally i like to put every bolt in a ziplock bags an write on the bag where it came out of.

Good breakdown my boi u covered everything u need to now to breakdown a k20 head..for real for real I'm learning more and more about k-series from you and watching ur techniques and your knowledge on the k-series cuz I don't know s*** about k's I was always against it wit my b20 but I think it's time to retire the b series word up and step up to real true power.. KEEP GUNNIN DUKE..🤣🤣 Mad love family.🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫💯
Just torn down my k20a2 150k miles Glad I did. Rod bearings showing faint signs of copper Motor application will be HPDE/time attack I am using 86.5mm supertech pistons in the 11.??:1 compression range. I’m not trying to make massive NA horsepower. Not going using big HP cams or fully porting the head. Head is getting complete supertech valve train kit and valve job, guides. What I call a solid rebuild with rods and pistons. I’m going to put that money into the oil system and cooling to help with longevity on the track. Not a daily driver. I don’t want to lose my motor because of cooling or oil system failure but anything is possible even with dry sump. I’ll do what I can though.
Ey yo aki big fan of you,out here from Cali .. keep it the good work brotha, on ur next big project if u don't mind doing a h2b build.. that's one of the build tat some ppl still habe trouble or not understanding how to do the wiring delecting sensor or what not.. For sure u will get more views n ppl asking alot of question on thing maybe u can help answer.. Big thnkx brotha keep gunnin..!!!!1000 likes on this comment for aki to do this build..
Get this i tore down my 2002 rsx base wiped out cam bearing fod kncked hole in oil filter anyway the #4 piston is in correctly the rod was in backwards im leaving it that way bearingsshow minimal wear for 300k plus miles
Great video! BUT, if you're not familiar with "mechanics" get a shop manual! (Paperback) So if something happens to your phone or computer, you'll still have it along with torque specs and other valuable info!
