Mama always said making you wait for it always ends up being the best in the end always love when I see your videos pop up don't care if they're weeks apart.
Nice build. Love the adjustable plate for the shifter. I'm looking for a cheap and reliable way to build or have an K series engine to be as stock as possible for reliability to make 260 - 280whp for endurance racing that will last a 24 hours race. I'm currently using jdm k24a motors for importers fully stock except for rbc intake, Ktuned 72mm TB, Skunk2 Alpha headers and using 93 pump gas and pushing 240whp. Looking to get another 50 hp is possible but do not wish to open up the motor for OEM reliability. Let me know what's the secret source if any?
The music break was really good. It was a nice change of pace to the action. I was hoping JeNA would pull some higher numbers initially but it sounds good so it's still got some more to go!
Just an idea to throw out there, could remove the 2-inch lip to the stereo cover, to move the switches back, or even to give more space could move the switches to the side, below in passenger seat-floor, or above at a slant, up above on the roof inside? Or if you're feeling really crafty, to mount it inside the stereo pocket, a few inches deeper hah all stealth like, flip up "fake clock" cover :D
Would it be a good to put in an alternator from an LS. Maybe you need more to run everything and charge the battery? You might just be maxing the alternator are sucking the rest from the battery.
Hi guy I’m looking a chip computer for my ek civic running k24a with h beam rods 80lb springs 750hp arashi turbo Um in Jamaica I run out of cash so I’m seeking help with a ecu next year I’ll upgrade to a fueltech
We used x85 to see what she hit and tune on that and then put m5 and finished the tune on that so 285wheel hp on x85 and 304whp with m5 real conservative and light on timing unfortunately the alternator stop working so we had to stop
Big question for diymike, im doing something that no one has ever done, which is trying to build power on a d17a, im either going bseries pistons or k20 pistons with k1 rods, built head with what idk yet sleeved block factory crank, trying to pull atleast 100-200 hp out of it
It has been done, never was worth it. You will have to use K series pistons with a custom pin height to accommodate the D17 rods. Most they ever got out of it was 220HP on a nitro meth mix.
Wait if they're OE cast pistons shouldn't the compression be around 11 or 11.5? Bro I made over 300whp on e85 with 14.5:1 compression, you need more compression because it elevates power throughout the power band. FYI i made that with stock k24a2 rods
@@harryazzole7814 to be exact I made 342whp 261wtq. on e85 when it got tuned. That e85 when I check it was 88% now I don't know why but around Maryland it's 72-84%. I have a flex fuel kit and the hondata app was telling me the percentages.
@@coreycrosswhite8890 there was so many custom stuff i was waiting for it would of lagged and i didn't want to jump on and off from working on it... but i will start to drop the series next week!
