HUHUH_OUIOUI ghost pvp I know you think a civic isn’t nearly as cool as Tom Clancy’s Ghost recon, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion I guess 😂
Savage D this the problem with my ctr. It’s too quiet. I want just a tad more sound. But all the aftermarket clips I’ve heard are too far into the noise for the car. I don’t need any extra help drawing attention I just want to enjoy the engine sounds on back rounds a bit more.
@@ksisjdm sup bruh? Like stated before i wanted to reach out to you in the event i had any doubts, so this is not realy a doubt, id say its more an opinion. I curently have a poor mans type r ready to slap on my project civic sedan now im debating on selling the b series and getting a k series or sticking to the b series. 1.How does one engine stack up to the other? (If there is any comparising at all) 2. Can i go with a stock honda element k series and be able to build on that engine? (Thats what i can get a hold of like yesterday.) What factors should i consider for both engines? My goal is, as close to 300hp as i can get, but still be able to drive the car with a full interior and ac, (puerto ricans need that ac working properly. Mannnn its just crazy hot out here all year long. Bruh any input will be apreciated. Good lookin out bruh. Be easy
A K is superior all around. Its takes much more effort into a B to do the same thing with a K. If you use the element engine, yes you can ultimately build on it but you'll want to swap out the head. Or another option if you use the element engine is to leave it stock Internally and turbocharge it. You'll make more than 300 easily without breaking a sweat
@@ksisjdm i had bad experience with turbo before, not to many deducated tunners that i can actualy feel comfortable with, that is why im looking to stay all motor, i had this one tunner close to carolina (my home town) tune my e36 and i preety shure he went to lean and i had a turbo spike creep up and oh well, that engine went south. That is why im concearned with the element engine (power wise capabilities) but i would only be paing no more than $500.00 for the whole wrecked element to a relative. If i was to stay all motor what cams do you consider a good set? And also what head should i be sourcing? Thank you bru, defenetly apreciate your feedback
My buddy had a Honda that was silent until the VTEC kicked in. And then it had a mid volume high performance sound. It was a cat delete with a Cadillac or Lincoln Muffler
It was never hondas or their engines fault, it was their fanbase that made hondas so hated... The kind of people that put fart cans on their car and other ricer shit.
@@waifuracer6516 Lol.. You call that a fan base? Those are the people that can only afford a Honda and think it's cool to put a fart can on em.. I would not call that a fan base.
HUHUH_OUIOUI ghost pvp no idiot if u can build up and engine like this one u can afford “a real car” people genuinely love Honda’s like any person loves their chargers Camaro and watever... but like I said these built up 4 cylinders can smoke those stock American cars like nothing
@@fuhkshet9703 because they're light and small lol anyone can build a car. a civic is just the cheapest option. for girls or highschool kids as I've said
A pretty quiet aftermarket muffler, not one of those annoying loud ones. The muffler that makes that buzzing bees sound is one of the most annoying ones out there. The other one is simply just loud, but does not sound good at all. This one in the video is decent, and has some sound, without being loud and without sounding horrible.
This quiet and without restrictions doesn't go together. It'd gonna be one or the other. I have the Tanabe touring medallion exhaust. Apex'i world sport 2 full exhaust is also quiet like this. But both exhaust systems are restrictive
You Sir have made a thing of beauty. That is one classy sounding car, refreshing against the loud exhaust no-go Hondas you usually see. Your vid got me pumped about TSX-swapping my 7th gen accord and still have it sound as elegant as yours.
You sir have got a new subscriber here ! 🤙🏼 love seeing builds like this, and your channel being very mature. Recently bought a ‘96 ej8 with a bseries and my goal is to eventually go K. Keep it up 🙌🏼
Sounds really good. I'm running a yonaka cat-back on my k20a swapped em2, it's really tame as well. My AEM cold air seems to make more noise than the exhaust.
Super nice! My friend had this exhaust on his K20 EG over time it sounded a little bit louder. I'm leaning more getting a more silent exhaust. I have a K24 with ASP header and 3" exhaust with race cat, and 2 resonators (the end one is a K-tuned oval one looking similar to this ehxaust). But it's still freakking loud. Would be awesome if you can dyno your car to see how much you actually lose on power. Getting older just want you to have a more comfy and silent car haha
I did dyno testing years ago when I ran the apexi ws2 catback exhaust which is the same size as the tanabe touring medallion I have now. The video is on my channel already. My car is built more in depth now so it's a bit louder than back when I had the apexi ws2, but that's expected since it's on a much bigger engine setup. And I feel you on the getting older part, same here. It's just more relaxing driving the car without making a bunch of noise.
I can't stand that honda noise but when you posted this video of your exhaust I was like finally a man who knows what a good sounding exhaust should sound like😁wish the muscle car guys could take some lessons from this cause those v8'z sound like shit
Man I love that couple. I just bought a 2003 five speed couple three weeks ago and I can't get enough of driving it. Yours is sweet though. Keep pushing bro
Man I like the way tanabe did the muffler and tip looks really cool. Nice and quiet with a little tone glad you like it, it sounds good. Make sure you get out and enjoy it when you can. Remember man do what makes you happy forget the rest. Always great videos.
BRO!!! There are 2 cars on youtube that i just love seeing. your coupe and the coupe from 79th productions. The builds are just real cool man. Dope ride!!!
i have a 3 inch exhaust system on my s2000. test pipe to a single exit into a magnaflow. best bang for the buck. best ek setup goes to you man. huge fan, the haters can go suck a used oil filter from their car
Loud exhausts are just annoying.... BUT, there's nothing wrong with some beautiful induction sound... That's music as far as I'm concerned. And it's only loud when you plant the noise pedal. WELL DONE.
Checked out the PFI or Boosted Boiz from Colorado? They are making mad power from stock K Motors. I am a, Ford, pushrod 351W in a 1990 Mustang guy myself. Got mad love for the 90's Civic's done right, though. Senior in 1995 here, so I am an old guy. LOL
I feel proud of myself..Im at 24 seconds into this video..2nd video ive ever seen on this channel and i went..hey thats houston I know that highway..why does this look familiar. Boom..its houston..what up dude! Just bought myself a civic..just getting started.
@@ksisjdm Thanks. Trying to learn all I can about them during this quaratine. Hell yeah man #htowntexas. Got my sub. Always down to support my fellow Houstonians.
Man, Must say, That's a really nice and clean build! Subtle even with the exhaust sound (Bit too raspy of a sound for my like, but still, it's your build and I respect it, It's how you like it!). You got my subscription and I wish you the best for the future!
Is it time for new rings , guides or valve seals ? Or is it just cold out and condensation ? Its always hard to tell in videos..if u do a rebuild on it PLEASE MAKE A VID
👍🏽 hey I wanted your opinion I had straight pipe my gsr (2.5) and it was too loud so I put a magnaflow resonator do you think the resonator would have mad a difference in power as in (slower)?
What did you do make the car sound silent? Bro this is my email do research for my k24a2 engine need your advised for finding right exhaust to sound like your
I dont smoke or do any drugs. Might need to reassess your judgement of people. If you've ever worked hard youd recognize this is just an old man who is tired from working to support his family. (Not speaking of you specifically) but I find it sad that current times everyone relates things to being high or some drug as an initial thought. Thanks for watching man.
Since the Revel medallion touring-s catback costs ~$700 for an EP3, I'm going to try a x-force s-10 or s12-L twin loop muffler, ~$145. I have a Invidia N1 2.25 ID now from p/o and its too loud even with the silencer. I may swap in a vibrant ultra quiet ~$100 as well, but we shall see. Weld it in myself, save a lil cash.
With how those plugs look and the oil burning out the pipes. Looks like the piston rings are getting tired and need replaced before it screws up a very nice build
No there are other contributing factors. I've had several videos after this that show no burning and those plugs were the originals from 6 years ago when I did rebuild the engine
Raaaandom question but what suction cup do you use in order for you to record those side angles of your car while driving? And where did you get it? If you don’t mind answering. Thank you in advance!
I’m running carbon fenders on my EG hatch, pushing around the same hp as you. Would a 15x7 or 15x8 wheel on 225/50/15 be a better option? I’m trying to not rub or modify my carbon fenders
Childstar I want to get either 15x8 +26 rpf1 on the fronts and a 15x7 +35 on the rear or just the 15x7 all around. If I had the same tire both 7 vs 8 wide wheel, what’s the difference as far as grip? Because the 8in is heavier but it looks better in the +26 and I’m wondering if it’s worth it! Tire will be a Mickey Thompson ET Street R in 225/50. Thank you!
I plan on buying a cheap ebay 3" header back, welding in at least 3 vibrant ultra quiet resonators, and fabbing up my old oem BRZ muffler by cutting a baffle or two out. I wanna be completely unsuspecting.
Going to negate a lot of the benefit of the 3 inch piping if you end it with a subtle OEM muffler like that. It would be surprising though with the sound and look, but it'll hinder performance
My dash lights were replaced brand new when I got the car and they are plenty bright as is. On top of that, I won't bother spending towards the OEM gauge cluster because I want to get an AiM digital cluster eventually.
