The bombs do have an aiming point. It's just off the hud. You can use a ghetto reflex sight by flicking the switch next to the HMD power on the K-041 control panel to slew the targeting pod to the impact point. If you then fly straight and level you can anticipate the release based on the picture. It's not super accurate but better than just eyeballing it completely. Because the minimum zoom is garbage you have to look at the terrain and remember the features before your target to be ready for the drop. In the case of the submunitions this is less of a problem because you dispense over a longer time frame, but with the FABs you need to be on time. Also don't blow yourself up with them. It's pretty easy to do.
Can you be more specific? sorry. I usually mark the target with the targeting pod, but have no idea when to release. Furthermore, what altitude do you usually drop the clusters? Thx:)

I was wondering what was the point of the K25 for the 50. But now I see it's interesting as buildings busters where you could theoretically fire one missile, wait for the loft, target the second target, fire, wait for the loft and then leave before the first missile impact or the laser cools down. That's pretty cool tbh
The apache has a radar dish up top. I'm not sure it's used for weapon guidance. The AGM-114L radar guided missile has it's own active seeker and generally the laser is used, which is mounted in the nose next to the FLIR and TV camera.
