❤️Hello friends, the favourite Punjabi Food combo in our house is Kaali Dal or Black Dal along with masaledar Aaloo Gobi that are had with jeera rice or Lachcha Paratha. So today we decided to cook this favourite combo at home. As Lataa is very good at making Kaali Dal, she prepared the same and I cooked Aaloo Gobi and believe me friends both the dishes were awesome. The crispy Lachcha Paratha added more taste to this delicious food. As we always say Indian Food is the best, be it from any part of the country.

Ingredients for Black Dal
Urad Dal 1 1/2 cup
Soaked for 6 to 8 hours
Onion 1 medium
Tomatoes 2 medium
Ginger 1 inch
Red chilli powder 2 tsp
Salt as per taste
Garam masala powder 1 tsp
Butter 1 tbsp
For tempering
Ghee 2 tbsp
Hing 1/4th tsp
Chopped garlic 5 cloves
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
For Aaloo Gobi
Cauliflower 300 gms
Potatoes 2 medium
Onion 1 medium
Tomatoes 1 medium
Ginger 2 tsp
Garlic 4 cloves
Red chilli powder 2 tsp
Salt as per taste
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder 2 tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Oil for cooking
Water as required
