They can say what they want about Glenn, but Glenn was intelligent enough to recognize how great Usman was. Not only as an athlete, but as a leader. Incredible to think this Usman would go on to dominate Woodley
@marklower007 He was definitely an overrated champion, but he was still a world champion and nobody really ragdolled him and embarrassed him before Usman.
A complete legend. I hope that he will take time off and get real treatment on his knees. You can see the bounce he used to have before the accumulation of knee problems.
unfortunately im not sure if even with treatment his knees will ever be the same, too much wear and tear on top of that hes not getting any younger ya know? but everything in this world is temporary and there will be new blood in the future to carry on the torch

Kamaru usman is the visual evolution of the MMA fighter. Look at the history of MMA and the big debuts and come ups of these young bucks lately. Kamaru and a few others have been the pinnacle of standards. Kamaru Usman has been the best Champion seen in years. He just has so much class and Acts like a champion. No matter if no belt anymore, He's cemented as an all time great
Sad to watch after seeing how old he was against Leon, knowing his time is up and we won't get another dominate champion like him in the division makes this clip a hard one to watch but thank god he won tuf and got to show us how much of a goat he was in his prime, won't ever be another him and none of the current guys on the level he was in his prime, division will sink and have a million champions now because the one dominate leader above them has used up all his time as a fighter Also sad to see rumble in this too knowing he ain't here anymore, makes the vid more sad to see, guess you lay their flowers when they are here and soak up all the moments with them in it

I agree that the WW division is stacked with wrestlers but his strategy is kinda smart because he's starting from the bottom and he's a quick learner. I'm eager to see him fight top contenders though. Also, he's a king of trashtalk and will trigger lots of fighters.

It seems to me like the American top team roster was virtually superior to Kamarus team. It’s like Dan lamberts team always had every advantage on their side but Glen had one ace up his sleeve and that was kamaru usman who eventually carried them all the way towards winning the ultimate fighter

When I was watching this szn ,I dismissed Kamaru all the time ,I found him corny and all talk .I also found his style boring .I was convinced he won't even stay in ufc for long.years later,I admit I was completely wrong. He proved me wrong. That's what makes me respect him and a fan today

I hate it when dana does those pep talks as if he was a former fighter. It's so cringy. What does he know about digging deep and fighting your ass off? He was never a fighter. The closest thing he was to being a fighter was a cardio boxing instructor.
I remember watching this season when it first came out and thinking how unlikeable Kamaru was, so it’s pretty funny to have seen that translate to the UFC 😂
