Hey guys, today is a special episode of CSW. Lando was invited to The Vineyard Series Car show/meet in Dennis Cape Cod. We walk through the show, get up close with a few vehicles, have some good convos with other Land Rover owners, help one guy get his Old Rover to idle properly, and to end it we go on a cruise down 6a. We also stop at the beach for a drone shot until we encounter a KAREN. Who cut off the Rover convoy, gets upset because she is stuck in traffic and calls the Police. What a day! Enjoy!

Land of the Free, my ass! The worst part of being Karen is not being able to recognize you’re a Karen. Karen surrounds herself with other Karens who just reinforce her view of the world. On the plus side, first time I ever saw a forward control LR. Came before or after the Willys FC 150/170?

Although I have never driven one I do think the older Land Rovers are very interesting vehicles. Great show and nice change of pace. More like this would be welcome.

You just became the Ken. You know, the only guy that walks away from his car in a line and everyone has to drive around him because he's 1/2 mile from his car when they all start to move again LOLOLOL. Looked like a great trip. The correct answer for Karen was " We just heard someone broke down ahead of us and the cops are writing tickets for everyone that crosses the double yellow to get to the front."

I'm in the UK, the army used to have the 1 ton land rover(forward patrol) mostly used for ambulances, they had the rover V8 engine fitted, the point system was hellish to adjust(dual points)the 1 ton referred to it's load capacity, I remember we had an old series 1 ambulance though that was about 30 years old but only had about 20,000 miles on it, had been used in Germany and shipped back after being in storage from what I recall.

Forward Control, not Patrol, and the majority were soft top GS (General Service) for use as artillery and later Raper tractors. They initially had a PTO powered trailer, but that tended to roll them over. Ambulances were less common, and the EW Vampires were very rare.

Greetings from across the pond , here in the UK. Great video. I've had more series Land Rovers than I have fingers and toes, then Discos, Defenders and finally (well at the moment anyway) I went on to the Freelanders. Currently own a Freelander 2 3.2 petrol. Love it. Lifted, under body protection, raised air intake etc.Owned it 6 years now. Sold my last series vehicle, a series 3 Lightweight a couple of years ago. But I'm sure I'll have another series Land Rover soon enough.

Never see vintage Range Rovers anymore. Probably because they struggled on highways & motorways. Above 55mph was not a place I liked to be. That poor 4 cyl and 4 spd was great off road but screamed on the highway. Neighbour had a early series 3 & put a Ford 4.1 6 and 16 spd gearbox in it. It blew up doing 80 and sold it for $3000. Thought about buying it but I couldn't secure it. Really needed to be able to lock the doors and his had no door locks like the later ones.

Was my first job in the industry. The disco 2s I did warranty work to and I told myself back then I would have one. I couldn't afford one back then. Now I can't shake the Land Rover bug. I have been dipped in green and will always have a Rover. Now I just need to get back into a Land Rover dealer and will be content. Or somehow go out on my own.

Nice change of pace! If this was in May, the pollen was even worse inland. I live in north-central Mass, and at one point I looked out the window when there was a little breeze and could see a yellow fog pouring off of the trees. Yeah, great for the ol' allergies! Didn't sound like Karen was a local, so let her go back to whatever entitled place she's from 😁

I just stumbled upon this channel, so I was surprised to see the G4 LR3 (as you call them). I have a G4 Discovery 3, here in Australia. The previous owner replaced several features of the original, but still has quite few good bits. I love the color! I will be sad when I upgrade because all the new colors are so dull.

doesn't or don't most states have leash laws to control your Karen at all times. i know there is a spay or nuder program that all Karen's and Kens must be fixed before they are left out in the wiled.
