Testimony continues in the Karen Read murder trial. Read is accused of hitting and killing her Boston police officer boyfriend, John O'Keefe, with her SUV in 2022.
This trial is making a mockery of law enforcement and the judicial system. When being right is more important than doing what is right. Makes me believe they are all protecting one of their own.
Let’s move this case along because it’s not the judges Life on the line here sounds like she’s already made up her mind about the verdict. Let’s see if the jury agrees.
The judge is more worried about scheduling coffee and every time the defense starts making the point she puts the brakes on. She is so biased. It’s so obvious everything sustain sustain sustain. They need to do something with us. Judge probably knows that family also.
The Albert family’s children call the judge “Auntie Bev”. Judge refused to recuse herself. Yours & everyone else’s observations re: judge is spot on. There was a simultaneous & secretive FBI investigation into the Canton police Dept on unrelated issues. The FBI turned everything over to the defense & prosecution. I can’t wait to see what else will come to light from what FBI disclosed. A lot of what the defense is using is bcz thank God the FBI was wire tapping & surveilling the cops with Canton Police Dept for all the corruption. I feel like the FBI is waiting for this trial to end before filing their own charges against the officers.
Judge's rulings seem biased and make me question her refusal to recuse herself after the defense made the request. She probably has a reputation for working hand in glove with the boys in blue.
Barney Fife police officers but corrupt to boot. Turned a blind eye to everything. I’m a legal assistant and could come up with something besides a solo cup and the other ridiculous things they did.
It seems like the Albert family has been protected by this bumbling police force for years. They are all neighbors! Officer Good takes 5-7 minutes to leave the scene and come back with his leaf blower. This officer got to the scene from his home within minutes because he lives close. What a joke!! These officers are a disgrace to the shield.
WBZ hold the judge accountable about rule 14. She told attorneys she would address it after the horrific perjury evidence against McLaughlin. Now crickets and no accountability.

Oh give it time! The feds were already investigating the canton police when all this happened so from what I heard they did a parallel investigation and will testify probably in the end of the trial. I hope that information was accurate anyways
@@truecrime98this is such false info. 😂😂 Canton police called the feds to investigate from the start because the body was found on a cops property. The feds said no because according to the feds, there wasn't a dead body yet. This came out in trial. Stop spreading lies.
That judge needs to be removed, she is completely bias, she is also asking the prosecution if they will object. Something isn't right here. Now doesn't allow the defense to continue?? What kind of heavy corruption type system is going on here. Maybe they need to take this case else where or to a different judge
The judge is also connected to the Albert family. They call her Aunty Bev. The defense asked Judge Aunty Bev to recuse herself and she refused. This alone is grounds for appeal if Karen Read is found guilty.
Finally they are bringing in the fight in the house the huge amount of of blood on the basement floor. That was dug up and recemented over and sold the house for $50 k less than valued and the seller fled !!!
What is up with these men and women and the fighting and drinking?? These are adults with children. It seems they have not lett their high school days!
My heart goes out to Karen and the victims family and friends. This is a Case of a life lost for no reason and the saddest part of all of this is the fact that the person or persons responsible for this death of an innocent person who gave his life to protect and serve his community Only to be robbed of his. Accountability would be a step in the right direction by the coward or cowards who chose to disrespect honor, honesty and the compassion to give johns loved ones some respect and some kind of solice in this horrible nightmare. Karen and and johns family and most of all OfficerJohn Okeef himself respectfully deserves that. This case is so sad it hurts my heart and soul 💜 Justice will prevail

Why didn’t you call the state police crime personnel to come over there. Why did you take over when you should’ve called them to do it because you were trying to cover up something possibly?
What a big waste of money and time. Seems to be heading no where slow,the jury is probably confused about the detection. Because nothing has been said to make this case against her.
Karen is a 100% innocent I love the way she stares down these liars I hope she gets justice. These Canton liars need to pay for what they are putting this innocent women through

When I first started to follow this case there was no doubt in my mind that Karen was innocent and was in my opinion clearly being framed i thought to myself whoever was responsible was in fact evil. For this to happen in a house full of cops and for all of them to conceal and cover up and frame someone is very alarming considering the position these individuals hold. This is clearly a horror story and i hope the real killer or killers face swift justice. There is a place for people like them, and i can tell you its not at heavens Gates. So you were actually in the house did you actually inspect the house for blood stains or any evidence? Did you write that in your report? Did you take pictures in the house? Is it on your body cam
How convenient they all live near each other they’re all friends. They’ve helped the Albert family in the past protecting them and now he’s talking to him without using a body cam in the house and who knows what coverups they were conspiring to do. Obviously it looks like they all are working together, and putting it all on reed literally she just dropped him off and that’s about all she did did
The judge complains about time but wants half days 2 days a week, she wants to rush the trial along because it’s not her life in jeopardy. She’s a complete waste of life & should’ve removed herself when they asked her to if she’s worried about time, and I can’t wait for her humiliation to kick in after this is all over because let me tell you its going to happen.. I don’t feel bad for Johns family anymore. They have their mind set on Karen & they could see a video of the Mcalberts dragging johns body out of the house and they still blame it on Karen. Judge Bev keeps reminding the attorneys that they need to respect the jury's time. And then she calls a side bar, another side bar, mentions ordering coffee... And she didn't even know that the defense had submitted the police reports that she asked for yesterday. Couldn't wait to call them out on that.
It looks like both of Karen Reed’s lights work perfectly fine. They both look exactly the same like there is nothing wrong with her lights in the back.

The cop who “collected” the evidence can’t even admit remembering ONE TIME he’s actually used evidence tape? That’s crazy. Also, he said several times “6 by 6” as the area they searched; but then he said “6 feet on one side and 6 feet on the other”; that’s a 12 by 12…that’s a significant difference. I can’t believe the defense didn’t capitalize on that.
That cop, Lalley, and the Judge got real defensive real fast about the evidence tape and the evidence collection protocols🤨🤔 And how would you not be able to recall basic procedures after 24 years in a position/profession🤔🤨
I’m not even understanding why her lawyer keeps bringing up things that happened 15 years ago isn’t that irrelevant? He’s done this on multiple occasions, of course these people are gonna know each other, They grew up together in the same town they went to the same school. It’s not a big town. And not everybody’s gonna like everybody, but that doesn’t mean they lie. What does 15 years have to do with today?
Of course they will lie and say that he never came into the house. Did he have a body cam on? Did he observe any part of the house to look for blood stains or his hat or issue or anything else that could be used as evidence did he do that, and where did he look? Did he look for the dog with the dog acting normal? Did the dog have blood around its mouth or on its paws
this case from the Da's office to this judge should be so investigated tooth and nail i mean big words on Judges part blah blah and side bar and she says at the time " you didnt object " lmao , she is far from clear and dismissive and if somehow this lady if found guilty on appeal , the guilty verdict if happens in some alternate universe will be flushed quicker than used toillet paper . What a farce and injustice this is keystone cops and courtroom not much better .Shame on this judge but at least its in full view hope the jurors say we in no hurry since she speaks for them saying " dont waste their time " What ?lol

If you look at the details, neither the theory of the defence or prosecution makes any sense. Each argument is full of holes and strange coincidences. But all of this can be resolved if we take Karen's words while being booked as the truth : "We're all in on the same joke, right?" My guess is, she had a fight with O'Keefe while getting out of the car. Maybe she attacked him. Some of the officers in the house came out to see what the situation was and, again as Karen has said, the officers ground O'Keefe's head into the tail light and the dog may have also have attacked him. This likely involved Higgins, who apparently had romantic inclinations toward Karen, and Brian Albert. In this scenario, all three are complicit. Karen, who would appear to be emotionally unstable (She seems to have loved and hated O'Keefe at the same time and clearly had an alcohol problem all suggestive of a personality disorder) may have gone along with the "joke" initially but then tried to make it seem she had no knowledge of it when she sobered up (somewhat) in the early morning and went "looking" for him. When you look at all the conflicting facts, this is the most parsimonious explanation. I expect her not to be convicted and the police not to ever be held accountable.
She said "I killed him???... I hit him??????".... his co-workers left him for dead. Her car hit a car and caused damage. The corrupt officers took her car for a few hours and then mysteriously found parts of it on the lawn. Duh.
