Nah I can definitely believe it tbf. The Falklands lasted about 3 months not many people actually fought. Why send a trouble maker out to fight when you can put him to better use as a mechanic.
20:20 Karl is right. A woman feel out of a plane in South America, she was unconscious and she survived
4:05 In one of the shows that Karl’s brother was featured on, he mentioned that he was kicked out of the army because he was caught with a spliff in his locker. I wonder whether Karl knew this, or whether he was kicked out for several reasons including the drugs
the story about the german womeen is real my friends mum was from Germany and she used to do that ! i never believed it until years later and she really did used to go around beating up men ...... lol
In their attempt to mock every single thing Karl says, Ricky and Stephen often come off sounding like morons. The “Jon has a moustache” thing was particularly annoying because what Karl was saying made a lot of sense. Still, he is pretty slow and some of the things he says are absolutely nuts… but sometimes Ricky and Steve sound pretty dumb. Like Ricky not realizing the moon is tidal locked

"I wasn't scared. I was just thinkin'... does he want me pie?" "I remember thinkin' if he said 'I want that', I'd have to give it up." One of my all-time favorite Karl moments, lmao. There's something almost admirable about that line of thought in that situation.
It’s not true that when you join the army where you know you might be under fire, injured, disfigured, see your friends, allies and civilians dismembered, and have to kill people, that PTSD is totally expected? They weren’t joking about people suffering PTSD, but about people being so naive that they joined the army and were shocked enough that it fucked with their head that they tried to sue the army.
See from 7 minutes on where is that from? Never heard it before. Can hear the noise in the background sounds like the animated series but don’t know which one. Cryptic
Karl’s question actually pissed me off because the answer obviously is “she’s hoping the guy would come to the funeral again.” Just by looking at the question and doing basic thought that it’s obviously the answer. It doesn’t mean you’re a psycho it means you can see through a simple question.
I mean brits having ptsd from the intervention attempt in the falklands makes sense, especially considering all those exocet missiles they got smacked with.
I imagine Karl seeing the thumbnail to this image... and going off on a rant about the lack of creativity in design of national flags... 20 minutes later, after an argument with himself about why you shouldn't have stars on flags because its too detailed but why you should have an image of a full English breakfast with optional condiments... only for Steve to turn around say, you do know that green and black war paint on his face doesn't resemble a flag right? Karl "what... yeah I know... but youve seen them women at football matches haven't ya" 😂
First time it was the Falklands war, then it changed to northern fckin Ireland, carl got mixed up with, two different conflicts over a decade or so apart i think 😂😂😂
That bit ptsd was disgraceful, watching bodies being blown apart will affect you. I guess when you have never done anything brave Steve, its easy to make fun.
Karl, Ricky and Stephen are brilliant, however, as a veteran of nearly 20 years service in nearly all theatres of operations during that time I think Ricky, and more so SM, should be less disrespectful to those that did suffer as a result of some horrific events. Yes there's a danger which was accepted willingly. Many sacrificed their all for the belief it was in a better cause and significant numbers live with issues constantly too. Taking the P*** when they probably wouldn't have had the balls to deploy in the first place is BS. SM think before you speak.
Ricky is so hostile and annoying at times. As the audience we all want to hear what Karl has to say and Ricky’ll yell at him to shut up or constantly interrupt him.
It seems you don't understand the irconcept. This was made in the era before snowflakeism and wokism. When you could have proper banter with people without them being insta-triggered and offended and going off on rants on twitter. You belong to the current age and its culture. This is not for you.
@@deathrowlemon7367mate it's got nothing to do with that you absolute melt. It's just annoying when karl is off on a funny tangent and Ricky interrupts him every 2 seconds. Stop being a 14 yr old edgelord lad ive not seen a single person in the comments offended by this
So your brother gets in trouble when he’s back home with the army and community….sounds like 99% of the best soldiers who have served in the past 15 years, at least.
English people naming 3 things they find especially English which every country in Europe has done. Also there's one country who's better at war... The French
It was incredibly disrespectful and clearly came across as a bit naive tbh. The Falklands was a pointless war that should never have happened so they have a right to sue
What a load of bollocks being spouted by ricky and steve. We didnt "politely march towards the enemy and get mowed down" If it did happen it happened once and it wasnt about fair play it was just the Orthodox strategy of the time.
It's either jokes or I should digress my thoughts Some people get attacked and can move on, others feel they aren't the same. I feel it's as simple as that.
@@pthompson2113 this has to be the most pessimistic and down right submissive and share the up most un-eagerness to help those people in need of a hand into a happier life time. Final comment, final answer, give me the million pound.
@@mrvertigo23 times were a lot different when these were recorded. They make below the belt jokes about the Chinese, gays, indigenous ppl, ppl born with deformities all the time. That being said. I find 99% of their banter great.
JEEZ the English are bad at coming up with catchy phrases! They came up with "careless talk costs lives" meanwhile over here in the U-Sof A we had "loose lips sink ships"....much catchier just saying...but then again everything British is a bit dry isn't it...well except the weather apparently.
@@lukebennett576 it's just a joke mate lighten up! Considering how you've managed to interpret what was very clearly a sarcastic joke as a literal insult, or even a real opinion at all has quite frankly only VALIDATED the "British are dry" stereotype...that is if course assuming that you also happen to be British yourself...
