I knew Karla starting from junior high. Then we started meeting from Circle P to everywhere on trails & jumping our horses. Karla a great artist, great at anythinhg she worked at. I truly miss her always. Love you Karla...Sandy
Please can you write me some biographical information about her? I can't find anything on the web. For example: where was she born? is she still alive? what has she done in her life besides making these wonderful songs present on the web? Thank you!
I wish i could go back a few years cause i missed a few years to be with you. Although i had many moment's in the 60's, art class, junior high, competitive horseback riding-whose horse could jump higher, we met on equal grounds, Karla, then Unity Fellowship-Yorktown Heights, know this I miss you lots...Sandy Amiel
What a great joy to hear Mirabai (that’s how I knew her back then). She was a superb singer, a beautiful soul. May she rest in infinite peace and love in the beautiful angelic realms where she dwells.
Thanks for sharing. I was a 5-year old boy living in the Philippines at that time, hence, haven't had the chance to know about her. Just learned of her today after reading an account from Stephen Davis' LZ - '75 Tour where she was mentioned and supposedly recorded with the Swang Song, the Led Zeppelin recording company at that time (1975).
Hi, This was a Reel to Reel Tape that Karla had giving to Bob Fass at WBAI in New York at that time to possibly play on his show. I had borrowed several Reels of stuff from him decades ago of Artists I loved and made copies for my Rare Recordings Archive.
@@JoeyMcGowan1 If this was for the show on Sundays called "In the Spirit", I recorded some songs with her! Thank you for letting me know. My name is Alaine Major.
