Survivor, Monk, and Hunter met up and were faced with a karma gate and then Survivor gets a concussion
Finally made the three vanilla scugs together
I made this since when I first played rain world and met my first karma gate, i actually thought i had to just walk to it and it would just open when I played as Survivor in the game lol so I deliberately picked Survivor as the one saying they had to run through it
While Hunter represents more experienced players but they just wanna see what happens next

Thank you! But it's not the best since it sort of reuses some frames for lipsync plus ik someone who has smooth animation and does rw videos I think meltedwax is smoothest animator

Glad you like it! Also for that scene the outline was separated into different parts like the eyes and mouth which explains the movements as it does not immediately follow the head It'somewhat like tweening

I remember playing the game with a friend for the first time, the Karma gate was such a roadblock. Our karma 1 flashed red and we didn't know what to do, friend looked it up and somehow got to the conclusion that we have to force hibernate *by the gate* in order for it to work Rain swept us away and only I returned to the game years later

@@Lem0n_Ade We were pretty stubborn players, so for half a cycle we held down and hoped the rain would make the gate force close (It didn't work as you can guess lol) Wish the game taught you more than just "Here is the grab and eat button, here is the jump button, this is how to pounce, goodluck"

@@NekoEchoflowerto be honest? that's one of the things i do like abt rain world. it makes you learn, because that's how it would really be for someone in a new area. outer expanse probably doesn't have karma gates except to get into iterator areas, surv didn't go through one of them when getting to where his campaign happens because he just got swept away by rain. (though i didn't experience this myself because i had already looked into rw for hours before playing, so-)

@@peachfilledstars2710 Lore wise yes that is correct, and the difficulty spike in Rainworld really is appealing alot. Though to me, core mechanics is what a game should teach. I would be happy even if the game just gave a short vague prompt, like with a Karma flower saying "There's a strange energy..." or with a Sporepuff saying "Not all items use is obvious". It gives the player a hint as to what should be done, even if originally the slugcat never interacted with that item before. Forcing the player to look up the answer is kinda discouraging tbh, but I do understand the meaning behind it

I appreciate it though i wouldnt say its that smooth and more animatic or choppy like compared to my other animations since i didnt add any in-betweens Also thank you for your opinion but I do somehow have this sort of fear of how I would react with many more comments in my video which ik it doesn't make sense but like just saying maybe not too popular lol

I remember on my first playthrough as Monk when I first found a gate. I walked up to it confused and then opened up the map to look for other places to go. I happened to have enough karma, and got spooked when it activated. I thought it was a trap.

@Ahlnie yeah I also went to industrial first and yes I also hate dark regions lmao, but my first interaction with a garbage worm is like, 'hm what is that thing? Throw rock at it first (caveman practise) but the body can't be damaged only can bonk head which me didn't know and thought it can't be harmed But the threat music wasn't playing so I guessed it wasn't that much of a threat and they stole my spear
