What I like about Karthus is that he genuinely seems to have good intentions unlike the rest of the undead He's just well. A bit insane. Delusional. I wish he was more explored in the lore, he'd make a fantastic anti hero imo, perhaps wishing to take Shadow Isles back from Thresh but still wanting to kill everyone.
@@mozzarellamaniac6300 Thresh's goal is simply to inflict suffering, while Karthus seems to genuinenly care about people. He just experienced trauma that made him show that care in a twisted way, he even explicitly condones Thresh's actions in his quotes. I see him as a character who could perhaps even ally with the sentinels of light, just to take down Thresh, so he can then turn on them, since his goal was liberation of the Shadow isles, not destroying the undead. Perhaps the sentinels don't ally with him for... obvious reasons lol, but he would still aid them from the shadows in taking down Thresh, maybe revealing in the process juts how deeply he cares about the undead, even though he's delusional and doesn't understand that what these people, and even he is experiencing is slavery. It's the amplification of madness, for Karthus, it's the blind irrational faith that people who turn undead thrive, while in reality they are husks, devoid of any personality except for the obsessions carried on from their life that are now only amplified.
You're right, but we can interpret it as to make it still sounds right, imagine if Karthus is talking about how Lucian is Conflicted with Senna and he mean "to find her" more like to understand and accept her as she is right now.
I understand that making this update requires effort and money but the "old" had a unique essence that could not be replicated, no matter how much definition and detail they put into it.
