We purchased the Kartt ultimate jockey wheel approx 3 years ago under your recommendation, to replace the rubish Alko one supplied with our Swift. The Kartt one was far superior and is still going strong, but if required at a later date may, upgrade the wheel.
Yes I very much enjoyed wa-king that 😂😂😂 We have a tyre jockey wheel and recently it's been losing air. We got a new inner tube for it so 🤞 hopefully it'll stay up 😂 P.s you really were rocking them Crocs 😂
We bought a hardly used 2017 Bailey with a plastic jockey wheel in 2019. On checking it it was very cracked and was replaced with a Kartt solid rubber one. Bought a brand new Coachman last year on condition the dealer replaced the factory plastic jockey wheel with a solid rubber one which they did...still had to buy a Leisure battery though for a new caravan!
Thanks for watching. Why don’t manufacturers supply a battery? They supply solar panels and sometimes motor movers but you have to buy a battery. You get one with a car. 🤦
My current jockey wheel looks the same as yours with a few chunks missing. The new one looks smart and hopefully stronger. I will keep going with the chunks missing for the time being and see how folks report back on the new one. 👍
I have been using the Kartt jockey since it first came out. However I’ve managed to go through one wheel a year because going over a speed bump with the wheel fully retracted meant that all the rivets popped. I bought a replacement wheel at the beginning of this season and I need to check whether the replacement wheel is the old type or the new one.
I was so impressed by your sales pitch (no pun intended) I would like to order one but I can't work out where to put it on my motorhome. Can you suggest a suitable location?
Excellent video as always. Thought about changing ours as it's probably as old as the van(24)😂but as we have no mover the jockey wheel really doesn't do much. However, watching you wind that old one so easily with one hand may have just persuaded me. Despite being lubed up to the hilt, ours is still a 2 handed job. 😢😅
Thanks for watching. I think I've got so used to the handle being easy I forgot how difficult winding can be. Well, hardly difficult, but harder than it should be, maybe. It's nice that it clicks as you do it as well. Are you sold yet lol? As I said in the vlog, it makes no difference to me if people buy it
My Cousin Kart 😂😂😂😂 I still have my OE equipment jockey wheel which is perfect, oh yes I remember I don’t have movers and reverse the caravan onto my pitch so all it does is sit there looking like a wheel 🤦♂️😂
Now you've got us thinking... Low profile jockey wheel . 🤣🤣 Now these should improve the performance of the motor movers, much like them go faster strips do. This could be life changing with extra life out of the leisure battery but may induce less grip on wet grass. I think we need to consult "the torque wrench of talking sense" to make a decision if we buy. 🤣🤣🤣 As always, proper caravan entertainment old boy. 👍👍
The 2-year warranty only applies to the original owner, Shat happens if it's bought as a gift? That means you're technically the second owner. Is that legal in the UK?
Thanks for watching. Not sure it’s illegal. As I mentioned in the vlog, Swift to it with their warranties. Probably find that the “fit for purpose” rule would probably apply anyway, so you have rights under the consumer act. Having said that, I know nothing about it really…
Thanks for watching. All is good here :-) Yeah, it's a luxury really. Having said that, my original wheel can't handle my gravel drive. Haha, gravel drive makes it sound like I live in a mansion lol...
@@CaravanVlogger LOL well get you!!! We've been to our van lots so far this season....Off to 'Glaston Budget' music festival this weekend then back to the van the weekend after... weather forecast is great which really helps doesn't it xx
