Kasane Teto UTAU Voicebank vs. SynthV Voicebank Comparison: Which is Better?? 

It also depends a lot on the person who uses Teto.

I dont think its fair to compare a voicebank out of covers from people with different tuning and mixing abilities

Everything thats "delayed syllables" doesnt have anything to do with the voicebank, its to do with the mixing. Quality also depends completely on the person using the voicebank

Yo if you wanna hear some great Teto covers, there’s this guy named Tanjiro Taidana. He makes super great Teto covers, 10000000/10 I recommend. He made a better Ghost rule cover too

i mean... the best part of her voice are the growl sounds she is able to make in her UTAU voicebank but, on the other hand the new Ai voicebank is so clear and beautiful tough sometimes it doesn't sound like her i think is jut that the tuners are still new to the voicebank and i hope in some time we can hear all the power she had in her Utau version c:

I would very much say its only fair to compare untuned versions without the background music, tuning and mixing can completely change the sound/quality of a voicebank

I prefer the UTAU version, i prefer the more robotic sound

There's something about Teto's voice that charmed me more than all the other vocaloids and UTAU. Maybe it's because she sounds robotic but despite that her voice has more presence!

SV Teto acts weird when pitch goes high. It loses power and pitch somehow overshoots.

Theres two songs i dont like at all with AI teto, bieng Fukkireta and Teto Territory. I think that theres just such a nice tone to her UTAU in her songs that the SynthV covers dont have.

I like tetos Utau voicebank is better for originals not covers but her new voicebank is better for covers I really like her Utau voicebank it more recognizable

I really enjoy teto ai tbh... i dont plan in getting synth v pro just for her at all rn so im pretty happy that her free basic vb sounds actually good for a basic version making vocals sound good mostly boils down to the person mixing the songs tbh ,you can do a lot to make vocals have more power and emotion behind it if you know how to mix

in my opinion utau teto is better, SynthV doesn't sound like teto, she sounds like new vocaloid

All of this is mostly influenced by the voicebank itself used in utau (teto has multiple ones), mixing, tuning, etc etc

i think making synthvs teto growl is hard, or isnt possible, thats why she sounds like that

the utau vb has higher voice and choppy (bc its an utau), and the ai vb has lower voice which makes it more realistic, it also depends on the tuning

Despite the already mentioned difference in mixing and allat i just dont like ai teto since it strips away her power and charm. Utau teto is my favorite virtual singer anything because shes so crunchy and robotic so it kinda hurts looking up covers just to find everyones using ai Though there is like one person i found who can kinda create original utau teto with the synthv one forgot their name though

Also I dont think it's good to criticize other people's covers if they didn't ask for feedback +most of it isn't even constructive

A lot of these are using multiple utau banks to accomplish what the synthv does in one go. Though the biggest set back is the loss of strength in her synthv bank, but the fact that synthv banks in general are not very strong and powerful may contribute to that. For hibana specifically, they used a weaker version of her voice bank for some reason which was an interesting choice imo, teto’s voice is very full and loud and I feel that should be utilized more. She also does sound good in softer tones but you have to know how to maneuver her bank in order to get it to sound good and not too robotic. Oh lord have mercy what did they do to her in ghost rule-
