KASHMIR SCAM , They Scammed Us ,Travel Agency Fraud , Kashmir Tourism Ruined ??? 

100% agree with you..I went to Kashmir last December and had the worst experience ever..Scammers everywhere just trying to loot tourists..I had been to 32 countries but never had such bad experience specially with taxi drivers..I will never recommend anybody to go Kashmir because of this(But on the contrary Kashmir is very beautiful)

I belong to Kashmir but i can understand the tensions you might have gone through. I always advise people to not go through travel agencies.

I had similar kind of issues with travel agency in Andaman. They don't provide you hotels as per expectations. They are good story creator.

Exactly same thing happened with us by Zoyo tours & travels. 😶😶😐😐 Kashmir is very nice place to visit but because of this humanity and behaviour Kashmir ka naam kharab hai😡😡

Quite unfortunately those all people loot tourists,who have no prior knowledge of.would suggest to have some Kashmiri friend or known one to accompany you to travel here.Reality is 95% of Kashmir still remains unexplored.Those packages are just for few 2-3 known places

I dont know how you got scammed for the pahalgam hotel. Once you book the package the hotel confirmation is given in well advance. They cant change the hotel 😬😬

Yarana holidays, pluto.. All these tour operators are frauds.. May be all are same in different named.. We got similar experience with yarana holidays... All third rate hotels...

Ap ko hemesha aichi trvl agency se package confirm krna chahye. Aur wo hemesha hotes mai option daity hai aur guest ko hotel book krny pe full confirmation tabhi daity hai jo service book kiyi ho. Dusri baat kuch log sasta package book krty hai tb khush hoty hai hame sasta mila aur fir jb aty hai to service usi hisab se milti hai . Fir disopinted hoty hai. Aichi trvl agency staff continue guest k dep tk contact mai feedback lyty rehty hein.Ap ne pta nhi kis fuzul agency se package kiya hai . Driver barabar progm k hisab sightseeing krwata hai.

We went this month with family including two children less than 5 years. I thought the trip would be challenging after looking few such videos but it was a decent experience. I will just put my points. 1) Travel agency was nice 2) Accomodation was average but had no major issues 3) Places and points are obviously very scenic and absolutely worth going. 4) People at tourist places did want to sell their services but not too much bothersome and would leave if politely refused. 5) We had two Cab drivers and one in Pahalgam from their taxi union - all were genuine and nice. No problem. If someone is wanting to visit, go positively and enjoy the nature and the people.
