The footage from the top tele camera of the Mavic 3 was the hardest to look good due to the much poorer quality sensor, optics and processing of the camera as well as only working in auto at the time of filming.

I wonder what is your "Topazing" process, did you upscale raw footage before the color correction, or you upscaled the whole edit after everything applied? Curious to know! Also made me happy that I'm going to Crete on Sunday, missed these blues very much.

Thank you very much, it gave me a warm and delicious feeling. Like after a perfect meal with an fantastic red wine, when I sip a good Cognac and I enjoy the freshness of nature with the delicious sound of nature's influence. Absolutely amazing to be Mini 3 Pro & Mavic 3 Tele-Camera. It says less about the equipment and more about the artist. My biggest wish in the delicious feeling the video gave me, is that all Ukrainians could soon feel the same.

Hello Philip, once again a joy to watch. I have noticed that many of the shots where you either pan or slide to the left or the right have some stutter in it. May I ask, which framerate did you film in and did you use ND filters? I suspect that you film either 24 or 25 p which doesn't pull down even to the 60 Hz on either my Apple Studio Display or my iPhone 12 Pro. Always wondering why so many pros decide to go for 24/25 p for RU-vid instead of 30 p, when most of the audience watches videos on 60 Hz screens. Guess I'm missing something there. I'd like to, once again, thank you very much for the beautiful imaging you bring to us with each of your videos. I have ordered my Mini 3 Pro on release day and am going to receive it this Friday. When I saw your video review of the Mini 3 Pro ("The flying camera") I was assured that I made the right decision getting into drones with this model. I'll be visiting the Southern England Coast in July and hope to grab some beautiful footage with the Mini 3 Pro there. Greetings from Vienna Thomas

If I won't look at the indicator on the bottom left, I'd have a hard time figuring out which shots came from the Mini 3 Pro and which from the Mavic 3

Incredible footage. Thanks for sharing. And you're right; it does look better on Vimeo - at least on my latest gen Mac Pro display. Do you prefer Mini 3 Pro to the Mavic 3 main lens? Just bought Mavic 3 hoping it would give me the same instant magic Mavic 2 Pro did. But seems like I'm having difficulties getting it to perform. I put my Mini 3 Pro up for sale; but maybe that's a mistake?

@@philipbloom I had a feeling you might have had early access. The fact I can now shoot RAW photos and 25fps, as well as having manual control of the camera just helps justify it as a camera that I can potentially use on a shoot.

Cheers Robin. This was 8 bit D-Cinelike when I filmed it. The only 10 bit shot was the final one with the Mavic 3 cine.

Stunning, as always! Curious what's your computer specs. I've tried Topaz and really liked the results but even on a powerful desktop machine I get 0.03 fps per second.

Make sure you’ve set it up to use your GPU in the settings. For this footage it was 3.3 seconds per frame. For basic clean up of 4K it’s about 1 second. MacBook Pro M1 Max

that's great Philip. Loving that tele lens , would have been nice to have a couple of the Mavic3 mains camera to compare with the Mini 3. The shot at the end looks great but there is less stuff moving in frame so would do ..

Amazing! I wonder if it's possible for them to make a tele adapter for the mini 3 pro as they do have a wide adapter. Not that I can even get the wide adaptor here in the UK :'(

Cheers and not a chance. The weight would be way too much for that gimbal and would also be terrible quality. Better to shoot 4K 10 bit and crop into image in post then use topaz.

`Just downloaded the 4k and 8 k , wow the mini 3 is good for such a small drone, should I get one over my Mavic 2 pro.. Love the tele on the Mavic 3, what causes the background to grab a bit is it the bit rate(too low) on the tele sensor transfer ?

@@philipbloom It feels like there's some high frequency vibration causing a slow side-to-side jiggle (slow due to time aliasing) on some of the wider shots, like 0:21 or 2:06 - if you look closely at the island it seems to jiggle and warp side to side, like the motion of a flag but rotated 90 degrees and more subtle. Other than that though, really impressive for a small drone. Looks like they fixed oversharpening?

@@IliaSibiryakov I honestly can’t see it and I’ve stared at that footage a hundred times. Oversharpening is less but I used Topaz and the de-halo takes some off too. The review has the original footage.

@@philipbloom Hmmm interesting. Maybe I'm just crazy or super sensitive to... something. I definitely see it all through the 0:21 shot. It's like the island is made of slightly vibrating jelly. It also reminds me of how digital stabilisation can look. Btw I'm watching on a big iMac.
