SO HAPPY FOR YOU, Paul !!! Reached and GOT IT !! You CAN'T do THAT in Louisiana !! A KNARLY trail path...in every sense of the word ! At 9:20 in...GREAT backdrop sequence. God favored you with GREAT weather and view range ! Whoaa! - at 14:28, you TRIGGERED my Vertigo response ! Capturing the flowers variety growing on Katahdin, along the way, was a nice touch. Oh, no you didn't ! I thought much earlier, they way he hikes, carrying that Phone camera in one hand...if he takes that "Knife Edge" down, I may not be able to stand it ! I had to turn the video off and take a break, before watching that. At 26:15 - NICE ! Lord, if I ever tried that route, I'd be "assholes and elbows" with 4 points of contact at all times ! Uhh...scratch that....at 26:22 - HELL NAW ! No way...nuh-uhh.
Exactly what I thought. My husband and I never would have made it up Katahdin, much less the Knife Edge. I didn't think I could watch, but I did. Congratulations again from 2 old folks in Georgia with NC and VA roots who are still hiking, but not like we used to (we try to find somewhat easier trails).
I've followed your hike from the beginning. Must admit the first thumbnail I saw in January I was thinking "who are these clowns and how far are they gonna get?" Well YOU DID IT!
