I'm not mad at jeremy I'm mad at the writers. Imagine inventing a character that didn't even exist in the original books, only to botch up his entire character arc and only use him as a plot device 😅
When life gives you lemons... Bryce: you put vervaine in it.😂😂😂 That was awesome 😂 Also, I love that Zuff always asks Bryce and only Bryce if he likes someone. Its adorable for some reason. 😊
Katherine adds the chaos to the show when aunt Jenna stabbing herself I thought it was over for her Bryce’s reaction was mine lol just shock great reaction
I never actually got bamon. Like later in the show it makes sense bc I feel like Nina and Ian lost chemistry but in the beginning I always thought Bonnie should hate Damon forever.
@@samnabawy2731 eh. Nina and Ian had better chemistry at least when they dated. I preferred Bonnie with her last boyfriend. I just felt like Damon and Bonnie made more sense as friends
@@serenaaav Delena was always better as a forbidden love kind of thing. To avoid spoilers, I will just say that Kat and Ian had AMAZING chemistry and definetly a lot of heat between, more than any other "forced" romance that the writers sprung on Bonnie just to shut the fans up about Bamon. Julie and company just did not want to see Kat with one of the main two boys, makes you wonder why lol if you know, you know.
@@samnabawy2731 I agree Kat was mistreated on the show. But delena (even though I prefer Stelena) had the best chemistry on the show. And Bonnie and her last boyfriend had great chemistry on par with bamon.
I wouldn't call Elena a bad friend here. Her boyfriend and her other best friend are vampires. Her vampire doppelgänger is obsessed with her an her boyfriend and her boyfriends brother is trying to steal her heart away. Her entire life is surrounded by vampires and Bonnie wants nothing to do with them. It's kind of hard to hang around someone and keep your whole life to yourself who's supposed to be your best friend. Not to mention Bonnie was a complete Bitch to Caroline. She didn't spend a second consoling her for being MURDERED and blamed her for not staying dead I guess.
To be fair, she blames Caroline for KILLING somebody, not just as simple as "not staying dead"... And its pretty clear that her detachment has very little to do with Caroline herself or anything against Caroline, is to do with what she is and the fact that (in Bonnie's eyes) she has now become something that can override Caroline's "best judgement" at any second... Like I said, you can blame her for refusing to still see Caroline behind those predatory instincts or to be blinded by resentment; but it has very little to do with Caroline herself
Its so easy for people to use the words boyfriend and bestfriends to show a narrative that you forget said boyfriend and bestfriends are also serial killers. This episode alone, we watched one of them with the help of Elena's brother torture a man to death. I think its understandable why Bonnie would want to distance herself from them and in association, Elena.
Mkay. Clearly he meant after that initial encounter. He’s not wrong with him being an enemy though he’s literally with Katherine, clearly eventually when it came to it he’d side with Kath as he’s in love with her.
That Stelena break-up scene never fails to make me cry 😭 Paul crying his face off breaks my heart 💔 I don't care what you say, I'm forever Team Stelena! As characters though I love both Stefan and Damon but I feel like Stefan is so underrated. Damon was also HORRIBLE this episode. Mason didn't deserve that. Btw, do you know Mason's actor, Taylor Kinney, dated/was engaged to Lady Gaga? They met when he played her love interest in her music video for the song You and I. Taylor has been on the show Chicago Fire since 2012. Steven R. McQueen who plays Jeremy also starred in the show for a while. He is the grandson and namesake of legendary actor Steve McQueen who was popular in the 1950s to 70s. Steven is also cousin to Enrique Iglesias and Julio Iglesias Jr. And Matt Davis who plays Alaric was the douchebag boyfriend in Legally Blonde! Bonnie is definitely underused and so is Jenna and Alaric. Katherine is so evil but still so endearing and fun. At this point, I feel like it's just better to tell loved ones the truth because at least then they're in the loop and can't be as easily manipulated (compelled). Also, that scene between Caroline and her mum is so gut-wrenching 💔
The reactors I watch love her also. I am kind of the opposite, I don't get all the Bonnie love. She's okay, just not one of my favorites. I think it might be cuz she seems kind of on her own a lot and not part of the group. Plus she'll disappear for several episodes. I just didn't get invested in her like others.
@@samjohnson7869true but it’s more we hate that the writers did that to Bonnie. Cause when she’s around she’s great! But they write her off a lot when they don’t need her.
Spilt some juice this morning and couldn’t remember the word for kitchen roll, can you get me.. get me.. get me Damon Salvatore. I’ve been watching these with my friends and the episode where Forbes said “Get me Damon Salvatore” has been such a thing that now when something goes wrong we say it 😂
Some of Zuffs takes blow my mind. "Hes just going to go date Katherine" as if he doesnt hate her guts and will want to get back with her just because her and Elena look alike. The way he interprets the relationships of the characters in this show in particular is just wild to me lol
Ah poor Mason. I wish we could see more of him and Julie Plec didn't rush Tyler storyline. But I am still grateful for introducing him because I found and fell in love with Taylor Kinney
Damon was only ever compelled by Katherine once, and that was the night Stefan told her he loved her and she compelled Damon to leave her alone so she could process. In season 1 when Stefan is telling Damon how he worked out his feelings for Katherine from the compulsion, Damon tells him she never compelled him, that he knew everything all along. Also after they wake up in transition, Emily tells Stefan Katherine was compelling him to drink her blood, but with Damon no compulsion was necessary. When Katherine tells Stefan she never compelled his love it was because he thought she did, it had nothing to do with compelling Damon's love
Damon’s love wasn’t compelled. Both of them fell in love with Katherine, but Damon knew all about her. Damon fell in love with the whole vampire-packet! He knew about her. Stefan didn’t knew anything and when he found out he got scared. Katherine compelled Stefan not to be afraid of her. Both Damon and Stefan’s love was real. Mason’s love was also real. Katherine though as we saw only cared and really loved Stefan. Damon, Mason were just pawns (and occasionally fun) on her plans. ***plus: supernatural beings cannot be compelled! A vampire cannot compel another vampire or a werewolf!
Yes, but I'd argue due to compelling Stephan's fear away that his love was at least partly compelled due to that. He'd feel completely different without her compulsion at the time.
@@TheBlackLakeSiren yes but the love wasn’t compelled! Stefan fell in love with her normally! She didn’t anything to forced him to live her. The fact that he got scared when he found out doesn’t mean he didn’t fell for her! She took away his fear so his love can prevail!
@Kolious_Thrace He loved her when he thought she was human. From then on his love was influenced by her taking away his fear. His love from then on was really only half real. It couldn't be completely genuine. Even though she didn't directly compel him to love her. Her compulsion still affected his emotions and decision making when it came to their relationship.
I never liked Bonnie. She was all about double standards. Elena: “I know where you stand with the whole vampire thing.” Bonnie: “So now I’m the odd man out?” Okay Bonnie…so you wanna hang out with us then? No? Didn’t think so.
Usually I’m on Bonnie’s side but in this case it’s Bonnie who distances herself. Not Elena. (Talking about having Elena choose between both parties, she isn’t involving Bonnie in the vampire stuff since Bonnie didn’t want that)
I feel bad for Mason. The dude just didn't want to be in pain every month anymore and was in love. Used by Katherine like every man she comes across. Poor Mason.
Damon getting all “it’s either me or him!!” about Mason even though a few episodes back he was the one on Mason’s neck for NO reason, even after Mason said he had no ill intent😅😅 he so Annoying
Here early purely just to say TEAM STEFAN, it will always be stefan lol. (I like the actor Ian but I can't stand Damon's immature self.) These episodes are reminding me why I don't like damon, he's also at fault for the drama with mason. He should've left him alone, the things his character does is purely unnecessary and not thought out. I think he would've made more sense if the things he did had a better reason than "I was in a bad mood".
You can tell Rob doesn’t like Elena but I do get Elena. I mean she is thrust in the world and her brother is involved so I get why she wants to stay in the know. I also think sometimes when Elena shouldn’t be involved it ends up working out like this episode bc they needed her to save Stefan.
i think this is my first time commenting on a TVD reaction, but THIS IS MY SHOW! and I love how enthusiastic you guys have been while watching it! Honestly, I never really mind when side characters die in this show (except for Lexi), so when Damon killed Mason, I could see why (Two wrongs don't make a right, but this is Damon...of course he was gonna get revenge on Mason for trying to kill him and his brother)! I'm not really a big Stelena fan, but that break up really did hurt, man! As much as I love Damon, there are moments where he really disappoints me bc the man really doesn't think sometimes before doing something that indirectly hurts everyone around him.
There was a lot of behind the scenes drama with the showrunner, Julie Plec not liking and being disrespectful of Kat Graham, who plays Bonnie. This did sometimes reflect on screen with Bonnie's storylines, which you will continue to see throughout the series
R.I.P Mason 🐺 💔 I liked him too. He was so handsome and chill poor guy did not deserve anything that happened to him. Whatever he did was to protect himself and for love. So sad.
I absolutely love your vids I started watching your tvd reactions from s1 now s2 also watched alot of your movie reactions like twilight saga pitch perfect & love Simon white chicks ect you are all so entertaining to watch keep doing what you are doing ❤❤ also watched your bloopers which are funny af
The incredible thing is that like 75% of the main cast are children. They are children. Elena acts like she's so superior to Jeremy and so much older and she's SEVENTEEN YEARS OLD. Like if this was real life, these kids would all be traumatized and in need of massive amounts of therapy.
I’m Sooo Sorry, but crying Stefan’s faces looks like the Crying Snapchat/TikTok filter. 😭 🫢 This episode has always been painful to watch because of what Damon does to Mason. It always bums me out. I feel Zuff’s pain.
I don't like that Jeremy never trusts Elena and never takes her side (at least now), but his "I don't care" attitude turns me on a bit at the same time. xD
I always find it kinda hilarious how Bonnie’s like why is Elena and Caroline freezing me out, meanwhile she hates vampires and Elena dates one and all she seems to talk about is her boyfriend and vampire drama and Caroline literally is one😂 like no shit you feel like your being frozen out. Your doing it to yourself cuz they are more than willing to hang out you just don’t want to sue to vampire things and then blame them when you don’t hang out with your friends😂
Kat Graham who plays Bonnie was treated very poorly by the production and Julie Plec, there are multiple videos about it. Her character was also always given the most unfair storylines. Funnily enough, she wanted Bonnie and Damon to get together but her idea was shut down.
Rewatching this show with people really be having me shocked. I know when this show came out I liked Damon by the end. But I be so confused how that happened watching these early episodes and hating him so much. Like how the hell did he redeem himself? 🤣🤣 So upset about Masons death
