i literally never picked up on the fact that tyler's eyes glowed after the accident because he almost killed caroline!! i just accepted it as a random freaky supernatural thing and i feel so dumb now
I don't think the curse works on 'maybes' and near misses... I always understood that the reason his eyes glowed is because the device affected him (like it did his father) and "forced" the werewolf's supernatural aspects of his curse that were getting affected to the forefront... Now, we can ask ourselves if it makes sense for him to be affected even tho his curse hasn't been activated yet, and they've told us that people with non-activated werewolf genes are pretty much human UNTIL they trigger it; but tat might be getting too technical... They clearly have magic in them, even as un-triggered humans, so that's probably why the device worked and "pierced" thru his werewolf curse
@@AlewaxonTyler seemed always a little stronger than your average human and definitely had anger issues which is apart of being a wolf whether your curse has been triggered or not.
Did anyone notice how good zuff is at predictions? Like most of the movies they do I’ve seen and the amount of he’s said something that was perfectly dead on is insane.

Matt didn't just look drunk&compelled, he literally acted like he was posessed. It's almost like the actor who plays Matt let his actual personality shine in that moment.

I mean it's good that she was there? They could act quickly and realise elena was linked to Katherine. Elena is just insufferably selfless. It's annoying. That's the biggest flaw. Not the worst tbh

This episode is such a good setup for the rest of the season! This and the next episode are some of my favourites of the whole show. Honestly the entirety of season 2 has an amazing storyline, it’s probably the season I’ve rewatched most 😅
This is definitely one of my top ten episodes from TVD it involved the entire cast and it’s truly the beginning of an era when TVD gets really good iykyk 😏 can’t wait for you guys to see the next episode.
