❤ My how l loved Springfield Illinois, Guiding Light. I watched from the 70's with my granny until series end. After Katrina, the cast came down here to Biloxi Mississippi to help with the cleanup. I will always treasure my time l got to spend with them. Sadly , the Light would be gone by 09.Yet this song and video is a wonderful tribute to our family and friends. Yes , we all can be lighthouses ,if we allow our beacons to shine. Love ❤ will save the world....but it couldn't save GL. We will always have the lighthouse to be our Guiding Light 🕯️.

GL was the first soap I ever watched and I loved it up until the Peapack years. Or was it only one Peapack year? I feel the new format ruined it and I stopped watching well before it went off the air.
