This place is amazing. You may have to wait a little bit but it's worth it. My son and I eat here often. The food is so good. Service is friendly. You won't be disappointed.

Hi! This place looks amazing! My hubs and I haven't been to PA Amish Country in a long term. My friend told me it's very built up now with new construction. Have you seen a lot of new neighborhoods being built! Total yum on the peanut butter and rolls! Thanks for the great videos!

You should go back for breakfast! We travel four and a half hours for their Katie’s Special breakfast which is baked French toast, two eggs and sausage or bacon! It’s fabulous!

Oh how I wish we lived close to an Amish community so we could eat some of that delicious food. I've been to Lancaster once before for a week and the food and hospitality was simply amazing, nothing better, but here in Southern California we don't have anything like this. Thanks for taking us along on your food journey, its got my mouth watering. I recently purchased some Amish cookbooks so I can try some of these recipes for my husband and I.

I am fortunate to live close to Katie's. I have been there many many times and love everything I have tried there. It is one of my very favorite places to eat. Also the staff is great and makes the eating experience a joy. A+++

Was forced to live in Pa. for a year when I was growing up .The Amish were the only people I liked and trusted, and they have good food.

Everything looks very good if you guys ever get up to do the Bloomsburg fair they have a few stands up there that are ran by churches up there but these stands sell apple and peach dumplings with cinnamon vinnilla ice cream very good

You should try Hartville Kitchen in Hartville, Ohio. If you like breaded pork chops this is the place. Menu is same as most Amish style restaurants.

Gene Wenger's ham loaf is famous in Lancaster County. You can even purchase it at some grocery stores frozen to bake at home.

I've only had ham loaf one time. That was in Pennsylvania while visiting relatives. I've never seen or heard around Indiana where I live. I remember it tasting good.

Another great video !!! We have a festival here every year ( was canceled due to covid the last year) one of the big food items is Apple Dumplings . It’s a ton of food trucks’ that make speciality things just for the festival ( the trucks are operated by clubs , sports , churches etc ... doing it to raise funds ... also Blooming onions , BBQ , & a ton of other speciality stuff that is fabulous stuff! People just go for the food mostly they do have arts , crafts, singing and talent shows also. Our county has 4 festival in the 4 biggest town in our county ( but remind you I live in a rural area that’s the biggest thing that happens all year so people really look forward to it .. then they are two other counties’ that border us that have festivals alternating weeks from ours. It would Be great if you all lived close enough to attend. Also if you did attend there’s other restaurants you should try local to here it’s Pine Mountain Grill and Joe’s Chicken ( joes it’s a take out only they do have picnic tables ) and most people visit Pine Mountain To see the awesome views an ride through little Shepherd Trail. You are almost guaranteed to see Black bears in their nature habits. Then it comes out at a place called Kingdom Come State park .. ( I guess I need to do videos of that since I’m local , but I’m extremely camera shy lol ...

I wanna do a weekend getaway in the end of September, just to experience this awesome place.

You have to try Ham Balls at Yoders Restaurant in New Holland the very best in Lancaster County. Shady Maple has really good ones but I think Yoders is better.

Yum! I've eaten here and you did a great job. Real farm to table cooking. I love your videos more and more each time I watch them .In my poor effort to help you gain subscribers, may I suggest that when you take a bite of something great you should stop and say Yum yum yum and snap your fingers point to it and go the yum is Here! It might sound silly, but if you look at the big food bloggers like Mark Wiens/ strictly Dumpling/ Mr Morrow, they all make a big deal out of yummy food (to the point of the ridiculous) I heard Mark talk once where he said emoting over the food was the secret to his success. Anyway just an attempt to help someone I really like. You guys made Covid easier for me.

Would you guys happen to know what all is in that peanut butter? I've never had Amish peanut butter, but I can tell from looking at it that its lighter in color and thinner in texture. Is it honey that goes into that? Thanks, excellent video guys!
