The recommended torque for those bolts is 80 inch pounds. That is pretty much hand tight. If you happen to overtighten them which many, many have done - it will cause the nut that is embedded in the plastic case to strip and you won’t be able to get the bolt out. After that you either replace the case or start hacking at the case. That’s why I say to not use a power tool or if you do use an electric screwdriver with a very low torque. Pick up a couple of inexpensive torque wrenches from harbor freight.

@@KRXBrandon I approve these steps.

Some people are having issues with over tightening, causing the bolts to just spin. Then you have to drill them out or drill in from the side to hold the nut and pull the bolt out. I honestly thought I may have to do and that was the main reason I was videoing. It turned out to be a non issue for me and I was very glad!

@@KRXBrandon To add to not using power tools I've also read where people have cracked the housing which requires a lot of work removing it and installing a new one.
